Honestly I thought he was quality. Nice touches, great vision, inventive with the ball, some good defensive moments and positioning, kept the midfield ticking for me. I really like him under Ralf.

Yeah, I don’t think he’s necessarily been the key problem this season but when you lose a step it affects not just your pace but things like finishing as well. He’s gets to the through ball half a yard later so the keeper is a bit closer and the finish is harder. Or you arrive in the box a split second later so instead of being there for the finish you are stretching.

What has shocked me is how often he simply miscontrols the ball or slips over. It’s kind of weird to see him be less than a machine.

A great game for Ronaldo seems to now be not losing the ball when passing it and one nice flick to Elanga. Ignoring the missed chances, poor touches, poor dribbles and falling over the ball several times.

I sometimes wonder if people here even watched Ronaldo in his prime or even just a couple of years ago at Juve.

I would agree with a majority of this but Fred is having his usual brain farts, counted 3 in the last 10 there at least, Bruno could've comfortably put us at least 2 ahead, Ronaldos link up play in the last few games has deserved assists because some of it has been so so silky.
