Rotate everyone. October is hellish so let's rest key players. And if we go out, well, then we go out. It's the League Cup.

I'm definitely the Brighton of this top 4.
He is hard to predict for these games. You would expect 11 changes, but he usually puts 3-4 1st teamers in too

Maguire for example could easily start

It is still showing that we need a holding midfelder badly. Our midfield is just not knitting together and our coaches should be able to rectify this.
Go out and buy a top midfielder in January.

Weirdly, until the others find fomr/fitness, managing Matic could be equally as important as managing Ronaldo!

Fecking league cup. There's only two good outcomes in this competition, you either win the thing or go out in the first round.

Too late for that, we’re already in the third round. Guess the only other option is to win it now.

I'm actually expecting a strong side with maybe just Bruno, Ronaldo and De Gea coming out.

Think Ole certainly will not want to go out of this cup in the first game, if we'd have had a kinder draw I think he would have made a fair few changes.

As fans we may all want us to achieve higher than the league cup but I think Ole needs a trophy and any at this point, I think that will sway his decision.

    Dalot Varane Lindelof Shaw
    Matic VDB
    Sancho Lingard Martial
    Cavani

If Cavani isnt fit, then we can play Martial upfront with Mata or Greenwood out wide.

When is Marcus expected to be back in contention?

We can actually play a ver decent side and still rest a lot of players.

    ---------------------------------------Henderson (Heaton)---------------------------------------------
    Dalot-----------------------------Bailly-------------------------Maguire---------------------------Telles (Shaw)
    ---------------------------------------DVB-------------------------Matic-------------------------------------------
    Greenwood-----------------------------------Lingard--------------------------------------------Sancho
    -----------------------------------------------------Martial----------------------------------------------

Also hope to see Elanga get minutes.

On another note - Where is Amad? Did he go on loan in the end? Haven't seen or heard anything of him.

    Amad is injured.

    Henderson
    Dalot Lindelof Bailly Telles
    Matic Vdb
    Lingard Mata Elanga
    Greenwood

If it’s going well, would be nice for Shoretire and Hannibal to maybe get a bit of time from the bench.

Martial for Greenwood, and Sancho for Elanga.

Completely agree with this, maybe even Bailly if fit. West Ham will rest players, they played in Croatia on Thursday last week and play the team that run the furthest in the league on Saturday.

Ole isn’t known for rotating 9-10 players from previous matches.
    Then he better learn.

It'll be a long season and he has immense squad depth. Not to utilise it in games of little importance would be harmful to our team's quest for titles, in more ways than one.

    I reckon it'll be:

    Heaton
    Dalot - Lindelof - Maguire - Shaw
    VDB - Matic
    Greenwood - Lingard - Sancho
    Martial

Sancho definitely needs something just to jumpstart his season. A second string West Ham team sounds made for the job.
    100% he starts this one.

This. If Cavani not fit, then I would be highly tempted to throw Elanga on the RW with Sancho on the LW, Lingard at AMC and Martial as CF.

This game is where the youngsters should have a shot.
No reason to risk injuries to our important players for a nothing tournament.

    Henderson/Heaton

    Dalot Lindelof Varane Telles

    Matic VDB

    Sancho Lingard Martial

    Cavani (if fit)

If Cavani is not fit, play Martial up front, and either a youngster or Mata in the wing.

I never want to see Henderson play for the club again. Great throw for Shaw at City that time, but fecking useless at saving shots.
Anyway, to those putting full second string 11s, when will you learn? Ole doesn’t rotate! Maguire will play, Shaw will play, Bruno will play, Ronaldo will play. We might see Lindelof & Donny. Expect a similar team to the Young Boys game. Lingard might get a start.

What? Are you serious? He was shit. His performance in the 2-4 defeat to Liverpool was something Massimo Taibi would be ashamed of.
1 game is all it takes to say player should never play.

Maybe no player deserves to play for us except Ronaldo and Varane.
