So rest the case he is good at center forward too. He clearly is not ready to lead line even for a top 4 team yet. He was a good first time finisher before. He now takes many seconds to get in position to shoot almost like welbeck. Shows he is not getting basics right.

Watch people say he should be played on the wing now.

He is offering nothing.

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time
He just can not play as a lone striker. He's got no physical presence at all, and every single ball that goes up to him the defender easily wins. Often without Rashford even making an attempt. If we're playing two strikers he's fine, but if we're playing with one then Martial has to be ahead of him as he can actually hold it up.

As a striker, he is even far worse than on the wing. The kid had a great season but it wasn't "normal" in terms of development. He's playing now at his real level or close to it and we shouldn't expect too much from him anymore.

Very poor performance, more than that very poor effort. He looks like he can't be arsed to work hard anymore, he got a chance as a CF so he should be putting all the efforts to make a proper claim for the spot, instead made it very easy for Jose to drop him completely from match day. If we had decent attackers, he would have been out of 18 easily.

To people wanting him as a striker, he cant head to save his life. And with our long balls tactic, he will be slaughtered game in game out.

Also why does he need to take 20 touches when he’s on the ball. He’s trying to be too clever for my liking.

His last couple of games have been pretty dire. Hope he returns to form soon
Worst thing is, it's not just the bad form with him. He has turned into a lazy disgrace who thinks he has made it. He couldn't even be bothered against City for fecks sake.

Don't really think he'll ever be good enough. Definite mid table player. He was pretty crap last year and hasn't improved much.

His decision making has fallen off a cliff recently. Had a couple of great opportunities missed because he dithered instead of shooting first time, got tackled repeatedly trying to run instead of pass, was extremely wasteful today.

Silent domination, Rooney would have been proud. Now you see why he is not ready to lead the line for us and maybe never will be suited to it. He needs to buck up and perform wherever and whenever he plays.

Tbf the best thing he did all game was a defensive header but yeah he was shite today either way

There is an air of self-entitlement about him which wasn't there when he started. Looks pretty laid back when he's been consistently poor. He seems to have got it into his head that he's already a big player and has made it.

He'll off in a while. Third season for us and this is how he plays. Yeah, no way is he going to last at the club, if this goes on.

Heading is awful for a striker. Needs to hit the gym for 3 sets of 12 on neck curls

Yup, curiously enough he didnt fluff a defensive header, but didnt properly meet an offensive header either.

Difficult to expect something from a player who's main attribute is pace. He just hasn't got anything else really. No composure, no awareness of teammates around, nothing.

What happen to him this season? He needs to be sidelined badly. Very poor performance yet again. He is becoming closer to be another lingard than rooney at this point.

Back row. Singing.
Bloody attrocious again. Technically nowhere near good enough for the standards this club has set in years gone by. We've got too many like him and we wonder why we can't break teams down. Just no quality in the team at all.

I don't like the arrogance that has come with him. He has stopped doing the things that brought him into the team in the first place. Under Sir Alex he would have had a firecracker up his arse a while ago.

Same as when Lukaku is upfront - the midfield support is very poor. It doesn't matter who we play at the front these days when the ball doesn't get to them.

I would sell him or loan him to newcastle, Just feck off with your fake headers and your chance missing bollocks. Just in the team cause he played for the academy. Just not good enough.

HE needs a loan to somewhere he could play regularly. He is not ready to play for a top club yet

Hasn't been great for a while now, however, it's hard to judge him as a 9, especially when he hasn't played up there much this season.

He'd need a run of games before we can give a fair assessment. Be nice playing in a team that creates chances too. Today, he had the same problem as Lukaku normally does.

He is not good enough pure and simple,he has regressed and needs to either shape up or ship out on loan, his attitude and all round demeanour smacks of someone who believes his own publicity and of someone with too much too soon!

This nostalgia that comes from the class of 92 has to stop (if we want to win anything), it’s not going to happen again!

We keep saying it’s the manager but each manager keeps trying to play 2-3 youth players per game, all of whom aren’t good enough. Sadly the games moved on due to FIFA not having the balls to see through fair play rules.

Basically Jose was right to rotate Rashford and Martial on the LW.

He should ignore the fans and media screaming for them both to start and go back to rotating them on the LW.

Say it every time but I don't think he's a lone striker type at all. Needs a partner up there next to him like a younger Rooney and him to play a chicharito type role. Martial could maybe do that, and that'd probably be martials best position too. But yeah, invisible today

Does anyone think he’d start scoring tons because we change manager?
