It feels like he is just too reliant on his pace, he tried kicking and running past the opponent atleast 4 times yesterday. He could have played one two with a player on the side line and easily went past the player.
Something is not right with this boy this season. It's like his head is not in the game despite having so much talent.

Sell him and buy Antony, play him on the right and sancho on the left. Buy either nkunku to rotate between the 3 of Antony, Bruno and sancho. Liverpool have mane, Salah, Diaz, firmino, jota and have added carvalho to the mix. So buying one attacking player won’t be enough.

that’s the levels we need to get to... it won’t happen in one season but if we can get them too.. while adding Hannibal, garnacho, we suddenly have some depth.

use the money you get from rashford and move on from him imo.

I will carry him on my back to Paris if it means getting rid of him and replacing him with Antony/Raphinha.

If he just work on more of his pass, and try not to run into opponents' legs every single fecking time he has the ball, he would immediately improve as a player.

Its not really that difficult, is it?
It isn’t but it’s the same reason why he can’t play on the the right - despite being right footed.

If he plays on the right he can’t cut inside and be Rashy of the Rovers and shoot constantly. If he plays the simple pass he can’t run at defenders with the same aim.

That’s why he refuses to do both it’s utter selfishness and lack of team work

Touched the ball 3 times in the space of 60 seconds at one stage . He gave it to a Norwich player the 3 times  I’d actually prefer Martial at this stage

and that is the ultimate insult
You could pick a random fan from the stands to play and he would do the same like Rashford. The difference is the fan doesnt get paid 200k per week

Well unless he asks for a move then he isn't been sold, so we need to find a solution to whatever his problem is.

Not for you and me it’s not but for someone earning about £10 million a year it seems to be.

He always has been reliant on his pace.

With Ole we played counter attack and sat so low that he had plenty of space to run into. Now we play higher and he has nowhere to run.

That, and he's just not that quick anymore.

Yesterday was nothing new, he looks like he's finished as a top player already.

Spot on. Quite a few of the players who where thriving in Oles system are showing that they don't fit in a modern system right now.

Wait we play in a modern system? News to me, genuinely looks like we have literally no structure or plan when we go into games. If anything we look even worse then what we did under Ole.

Rashford was again absolutely shite, wasn't alone in that mind but seriously hard to justify even being on the bench at this point.

If he isn’t carrying another long term injury then you have to think that he’s finished at this level.

This has been going on for far too long to just be a loss of form. We have to start accepting that this could just be his level now.

I’m desperate for him to turn it around, but time is running out.

Are you the ref?
When you hear retired footballers talking about some club signing an experienced, quality player, they always talk about how great that is for the youngsters who can learn so much from how they play, their movement and positioning etc.

Rashford has played with Rooney, Ibrahimovic, Cavani and Ronaldo, plus he has had one on one training with Solsjaar and still he comes on the pitch and crashes into the first defender EVERY TIME.

plus Lukaku obviously

Just a thought about Marcus at the moment.

When he got the ball, was there even a single person in this forum who did not think he would run into the first man or kick it into a defender? Even one?

He's so predictable it's unprofessional. He shows no desire to do anything differently, or to structure his game to have any kind of impact. No, it's the same thing every time.
To me, he just looks on auto pilot. Can't be bothered with the result of his actions, just carelessly does it anyway.

Got better in the second half, even then there was no end product at the end of it. Where was it in the first half which was just a big pile of steaming nothing while we went 2-0 down.

He just doesn’t look like he enjoys football any more. I think a move away is best for him and the club. His confidence is absolutely shot

Will still have plenty of United fans backing him to 'get back to his best'.. his best was as bad as this but with goals.

Only on 200k a week, bargain.

Time for a new experience at a PL midtable club. Maybe Newcastle will fancy him in their new project.

Should be able to get 30-40m for him.

2 key moments for him in this game which he squandered once again. Then Mane effortlessly scores their 3rd showing us just how far Rashford is. Gary Neville didn’t say anything.

He tried, would guess he covered a fair amount more ground than usual but the quality in his game has vanished, Crazy to watch in a way, total loss of technical confidence.

He doesn't need a move to another club. He needs a move to another profession.

Walked around and lost the ball with every touch. Standard stuff.

Finished at this level. Wouldn't get a start for Bournemouth or Watford on the last 18 months.

Will be a case study in years to come about how talent can be destroyed completely by outside influences. A pathetic man who id gladly see move to anybody else - nothing player

No longer a full-time footballer. I genuinely think his mind is elsewhere. I've been in the 'he could still contribute' camp for quite some time, despite being very critical of him as of late, but he utterly lost me today. He needs to go.

Sell him. Was half arsed in his pressing efforts, only when it suited him. Fecked up every chance he had - some easy ones as well, considering.

For him and for us, he needs to go.

I can't stand to watch him anymore. He wouldn't get a game at any other Premier League club. He's properly fecked it this season. Gutted.

Pathetic, might as well start one player down.

The biggest crime isn't his "performances" but that he's till getting minutes.

Twice. Either chance falls to any of Liverpool front 5 options and they score both. Rashford made one look like nothing at all

His facial expressions say it all. He looks defeated. He doesn’t know what to do with the ball. Looks as if he made it to the first team by mistake. He doesn’t know how to play the game. That’s where he is now
