Good to see him doing well - would love for him to get that summer move to Barca
I'd be more optimistic about Villa paying his option to buy than Barca putting up any money at all.

Come on now. Don’t focus solely on numbers as we know that isn’t what the biggest issue with Rashford is.England’s current left winger has 15GA so far this season. Rashford has 14GA. One of these players spent most of the season playing for a woeful United team and then got ostracised for 2 months.
Rashford is England’s best left winger by a distance (it’s a problem position). If whatever issues he had at United are behind him, it’s a no brainer to return him to the squad.
He really isn't. He just packed it inI mean we have all watched him the last few years. He’s shit. Hope he still gets loads of assists though for them.
All he ever tried to do for us over the last 3 years was cut inside and shoot.
All of a sudden he's going down the line and cutting the ball back in for the CF

When comparing Gordon to Rashford even if there isn’t much in ability between the pair, their application is miles apart.
England don’t have many high performing left players correct but Rashford hasn’t sniffed a call up for a while and it’s utterly bizarre that one is coming based on a few cameo performances for Villa.
In the below video there are 3 big chances created by Rashford (I'm not counting the one where he stumbles against a defender) that should have led to goals. I felt like he was trying to adapt his game and create more chances for others before he got exciled, but I also know that he must have been exiled for a reason. It's just that he didn't do things for us that he is now doing for Aston Villa. You will need to back the bolded up with some video evidence because I don't recall any of these great crosses/absolute sitters from Rashford that were being missed before he was exiled. I think this is coming from the same place as me when I was younger where my ex girlfriends got prettier by the day in my memory once I had split with them.
good for him...[David Ornstein] EXCL: Marcus Rashford set to earn England recall for #WC2026Q v Albania + Latvia. 27yo winger’s last #ENG cap in March 2024 but shining on loan at Aston Villa from Man Utd & expected to make 1st Tuchel squad but no place for Jack Grealish @TheAthleticFC
I hope Marcus is in contention for an England place again and it`s not yet again his PR spinning it. Does anyone think the mention of Barcelona as a possible destination is the same? I just can`t see Marcus being a real target for them, there`s more players around who fit better and are mentally tougher. As for playing in Italy, I doubt he`d do well against those defences there. He is playing for his Barca future as that is where he wants to go.
Things are going ok at Villa at the moment and he has a maximum of 15 matches left to prove himself.
I hope he continues to do well so we can get a decent fee from him from Barcelona
We all know Rashford has talent but his attitude and inability to track back is the problem and why he wont be able to perform consistently at a massive club.
He’s been named to the England squad, no? Can’t see how that would be a PR thing. And imagine he would do very well in Italy, given that the likes of Lukaku and Abraham have found some success there.I hope Marcus is in contention for an England place again and it`s not yet again his PR spinning it. He`s actually been named? Good for him, I`m late to the news. He’s been named to the England squad, no? Can’t see how that would be a PR thing. And imagine he would do very well in Italy, given that the likes of Lukaku and Abraham have found some success there.
He’d be Maradona's second coming in Italy. He`s actually been named? Good for him, I`m late to the news.
And Marcus might do well in Italy but I wonder how he`d cope with the style of Italian football especially the tendency of supporters to be harsher on the players and the defensive focus of teams. He might end up feeling frustrated there at trying to break down the style of defence and I`m not sure he has the flexibility of attitude and game to do what Lukaka and Abraham have done. I think he`d love the Italian lifestyle.
