Much better from him today. I was furious with him last weekend, properly stank up the place but that was much better from him tonight, especially in the first half where you could see he was confident coming up against TAA. Probably highlights the need to get a proper RW in as Rashford clearly isn’t comfortable at that side.

Had the Liverpool defense on the backfoot, nice ball for Mason's goal and lovely finish for his own. If he's feeling any twinge in his knee I hope Ole rests him midweek.

Very impressive today and is always a massive threat when he has space to run in to behind. Takes his game to another level when he lifts his head up and spots team mates in better positions. Some brilliant movement too.

Much better on the left than the right. Hope the knee problem isn't too serious.

Squad player at a decent club, Rashford, awful finisher, doesn’t play with his head up, blah blah blah

Excellent today, exactly the opposite of the usual splurge of crap posted on here whenever he had an off game. hope his knee isn’t too much of a problem.

Rooney turned 23 in 08/09 and got a combined 33 goals and assists in 49 appearances (0.67 per game). Rashford turned 23 this season and has got 25 combined goals and assists so far in 31 appearances (0.81 per game). We’ve got an absolute, elite player on our hands here.
Mega numbers.

Absolutely brilliant today, especially in the first half. Liverpool just couldn't deal with him. His dribbling was direct, passing was precise and finishing was composed.

Think it safe to say he's much better on the left and it's a big reason as to why, if we are to purchase a winger, it needs to be someone who plays on the right.

Fingers crossed his injury isn't too bad but with Sheff Utd coming up, no disrespect to them but it might be a chance to give him some time to recover, as opposed to rushing him back.

If he didn't already play for us we'd be begging Woodward to pay whatever it takes to go and get him. Brilliant player.

Might be something or nothing but Ole has said Rashford will have a scan on his knee tomorrow.

Praying that Rashford's not injured because we get so much from him at inside left. His pace petrified Liverpool and he had one of those days, which are happening pretty regularly, where his attacking quality shone through. 15 goals halfway through the season? Not exactly the best maths but, basically, he's headed towards a 30 goal season. We want to achieve stuff this season we need that kinda input from him.

Absolute dross at defending. Even if Ole has given him some freedom and said try and exploit Alexander Arnold you shouldn’t be standing watching 3 Liverpool players go at your LB. 4 times in the first 10 minutes he’s just standing there or jogging back and letting Arnold, Salah and Winaldjum have all the time in the world continued doing it.

Thankfully going forward he made the most of this freedom and generally played quite well. Was a great finish and the pass to Greenwood was great as well. Hopefully the injury isn’t that bad.

This was the Rashford we know and love. Hope he's ok!

Have no clue what he swapped with Greenwood at some point, let them off the ropes when they were vulnerable IMO

Good performance finally. That was the sort of chance you'd expect him to miss more often than not.

Just saw his post on Instagram after the match. Seems quite happy and don't mention anything about an injury so you can hope it's nothing serious.

He ran off the pitch so I doubt the injury is that serious. Hopefully he doesn’t miss more than the Sheffield game. We will need him for the bulk of February.

Another example of why we don't need Grealish. Hopefully he's injury free
You can never have too much of a good thing. Imagine Rashford scoring a hattrick and gets substituted and then Grealish comes on
With more clubs in the league getting richer and becoming more of a level playing field compared to other leagues, the only option is to do a city and spend massive on both first 11 and the bench. That's the only way we are going to compete on all fronts.

Brilliant today. But as someone else mentioned, there is something about his attitude that worries me slightly. He used to show a lot of enthusiasm and emotion on the pitch but now he looks surly and uninterested. Pretty low-key reaction to what was potentially a game-winning goal against Liverpool. Although if he keeps playing like today, it's not a problem.
I prefer our players to not run around with hard ons when they score, it's strictly business until the final whistle and indeed until we have actually won something.

Leave all the small time bear hugs and circle jerking to Liverpool the stupid cnuts.

He needs the fans back. Not a surprise for less emotion when there's no fans bringing it up. Look at Salahs 2 goals.

He did? All the footage I saw showed him walking out with a slight limp. He also couldn't come to a stop properly in his last minute or so on the pitch, instead he did more of a double hop back on his left foot to slow down/stop.

One of the best passes you'll see all season. Perfect.

Greenwood first-time ball control is superb. Just enough distance away for him not to stop running, but in a good place to prepare to shoot. He just made it look so easy, and flow naturally.
