Why?

He is definetely not good enough to even be with a team like ours, we are third this year but if we want to compete for PL+CL, Rashford won't be good enough for that, so I'll be happy if any PL team takes him off our hand and pay us a fee so we can get a quality LW.
 
Feels unrealistic, as if it’s a Rashford camp leak just plucking the likely champions of England and the best team in German football to build the ‘look how in demand he is’. But we’ll see.

I think he should go somewhere he will be first choice rather than somewhere highly prestigious just to sit on the bench. He’s 29 this year he should be prioritising going somewhere he stands a chance of being first name on team sheet.

That’s the catch 22. He won’t be the first name on the team sheet at any club who can afford his wages. This is why he’s ended up on loan at Barca when United would have obviously preferred to sell him last summer. It’s also why he’ll end up running his current contract down and leaving on a free. I think everyone needs to resign themselves to this happening.

I would point out, this was put to Mitten on TOTD podcast and I believe he said there wasn't any way back for Rashford as mgmt at club had decided if Barcelona don't buy him, they would sell him to someone else.

I'd well believe that, Ineos have had Rashford on their shit list and have been looking to sell from the day they took over due to his salary.

There was a brief from his side that he dint want to live in london. I think his most likely destination is abroad, be it loan or a permanent move.

Bayern is not an unrealistic one. We know they want another LW option because of the Gordon links and so Rashford as a potential fallback option is not outlandish, he does have a decent relationship with Kane by all accounts so ought to fit in pretty easily. I know they would rather go younger and cheaper but Bayern is another club he may well be willing to take a paycut for as a trade off for an almost certain league title and a decent shot at winning the CL so if their preferred options don't happen I can see it materializing.
 
If Barca don't want you and you want to stay in the PL then come join Jimmy.

With our depth being so terrible, I wouldn’t mind having him as an option next year if we can’t get any good deal from him.
 
Fantastic goal. Reminded me a bit of his freekick against Celta. Barcelona can feck off with negotiating down his fee
 
Need to hardline them. It’s a bargain price for a player that has done really well for them. If they don’t trigger it, start to accept bids from the likes of Bayern and Arsenal. He is a very saleable asset. No messing around and wasting time with Barterloana in 2026. They used to be so classy!
