Player power, if he says he’s only interested in Barcelona, which I’m sure he will, we’re gonna have to make it work.

Not a chance in hell Jim is getting his wages back on the books.
Also don’t see him taking a wage cut to go anywhere else so…
 
Scored a scorcher of a free kick in el clasico where a win gets you the title, doesn't get much better than that.
 
Needs to stop snatching at the chances he's getting a bit more composure and this games done. Wish we had a Pedri at United, just so good.

He’s done well. Better than I expected actually given his last couple of years with us. There will be teams interested I’m sure. I think Villa would take him back permanently for example. Just whether he’s willing to consider those who want him. Might have no choice if Barcelona don’t.
 
We have to think about this long term, the fee is extremely reasonable, if we agree to another loan or a lower fee, we won't be able to sell anyone else in the future. Barca are only doing this because they know we fall for bluffs all the time. Either they pay or he stays on the bench, do it once to prove a point and we won't have to worry about this again.
 
Really happy for him on a personal level. Going away to another one of the big clubs, scoring in one of the biggest games in the world and winning La Liga. Disappointed it was not with us.
 
I’ve seen it implied that they don’t want him due to his work rate but he could easily be a great squad player for them, especially in that league. Cough up the money
 
On a separate note, he’s one of the best big game players there is, absolutely ridiculous record against top teams.

If they don't want to pay what was agreed, tell them and him to go flick themselves.

So then Rashford will have to play for United or accept a transfer to somewhere else... if he wants to keep his wages intact. That is up to him to sort out, and to decide how much he wants it. We should not be getting flicked over yet again, getting fk all for a player good enough to start and score a huge goal in a title-deciding Classico.

We’re not in the driving seat here though so no point pretending that we are.
Rashford is very very unlikely to get 300k /week anywhere.
That means he has the power, not us. We want rid of his wage, if the only place he’s willing to take a pay drop is Barca, we’re gonna have to find a way to do a deal with them else pay the man 300k /week.
 


League champion, shame that it wasn't with us but really happy for him.

Hopefully this helps push his deal with them over the line, if not then I have zero doubts he'll have suitors this summer

Probably but also I'd fancy our attackers would find playing for Barcelona a bit easier than playing here this season.

Hmm I don't know, Cunha would be deadly in that team. Mbuemo has fallen off but AFCON seems to have done a lot of the work there to be fair.

It’s because that’s the games he tends to actually put in effort in.

If he applies himself to every games. He’s getting 40 goals/assists every season. Part of why he’s so fecking frustrating.
 
Don’t have posting privileges but Jesse Lingards side just went 1 0 up. Marcus is way more attractive but big applause to Jesse

I think they might yeah.

But Rashford's done well in the end, despite that period where he was very out of favour. Strong strart and strong finish, you'd hope all in all would be enough to convince Barca to find the money.

Time shall tell though, they are eternally skint so expeditures are never easy decisions for them.
