Those wages ain't happening if he wants to stay at Barca. Simply because the club can't afford to give that to him. And la liga's FFP rules are tighter than any you'll find. If he plans to stay he'll have to cut his wages dramatically.

I was under the impression that Flick really wanted him. I hope so anyway. He's earning about 4 times his performance level. I remember vividly last season under ETH when he was the laziest player imaginable and then against Brentford he worked hard so we all could see that his complete lack of effort was voluntary. feck him. Stay at Barca please.

But his purple patches now aren't even anything special. He has been nothing more than just ok for Barca and has 2 league goals after half the season.
 
Dont think Barca will take up the option personally because outside of the wage playing him means having to move Raphina to the 10 and dropping Fermin and both are better players.

Rashford will have to make do with cameo appearances now they're back to full strength attack.

Still think his times done here unless he takes a massive wage cut or we bring in a manager that likes him i.e a Emery or Tuchel.
 
He will be back because Barca can't afford him.
Really don't want him back but maybe a new manager can get something out of him.
 
Don't want to see Rashford back in United. His time at United is over, going back there would be a HUGE mistake for United and for him, as well.

Hoping he himself also doesn't want it and Barca will find enough loose coins in their coffers to satisfy Glazer greed and get him on perm.

Played 10 years in the first team, never really kicked on, would have one very good season followed by one or two poor ones.

Only stayed so long because he is English and an academy product, while the team went through manager after manager and under achieving as a club.

Doesn't make more than 10 appearances if Sir Alex never left.

So Rashford is supposed to be some savior dragging us forward while ignoring our haphazard managerial hires, pathetic recruitment and a host of on and off field issues? He played his part well enough, Rashford or no Rashford we're going nowhere fast as a club. The last 12yrs have been a car crash, trying to gauge one player's consistency when the team itself is the very definition of inconsistency sounds funny to me.

I'm challenging anyone to find me a season where the team was absolutely flying and Rashford was shit. There is none, us doing well usually coincided with Rashford having a great season, that's a fact. This is much bigger than Rashford, how can a club like Man Utd for the 9yrs after Rashford got into the main team fail to buy even a single established winger who can contribute to goals as well. Pellistri, Anthony, Dan James, Sancho.... all flops. The strikers weren't any better or all one foot into retirement already.

We've had arguably 2 players the last 10 years who where consistent, De Gea and Bruno and even then you'd have people argue neither where consistently good and would go through spells of being "bad" we've bought WC players and they've gone to shit, brought through youth that many thought where the next best thing only for them to fizzle out. The only thing consistent about this club for the last decade is talent struggles here.

Alternatively if we had a stable environment for the players who knows what would have happened?
 
Great if it happens, but i’d wager that there’s no way they won’t haggle on the price (which they can’t afford in the first place)

Don't think we're receiving a loan fee. His output on the whole is decent and his actual performances have been pretty good for the most part. Up until recently when Raphinha came back he was getting good minutes but with him back he'll probably struggle for game time, helps that they're in all the competitions available to them so he'll probably get his fair share but even then I'd be sceptical about them actually buying him.
