Seems like a good enough player but is he what they need? I guess £60m isn't a terrible price for him but it's not cheap.

It's 60m Euros which is about £51m. Attack is the priority but with Jorginho having left and Partey's contract up, this was definitely needed too.
 
Good player but overrated. Never a 60m player. And he is a n.6 and Arsenal have already Rice in his position. Arsenal need a creative midfielder to play togheter with Odegaard, not another defensive midfielder.

Rice plays further forward. He’s a box to box guy
 
Very good player, I would have signed him for Utd a couple of years ago.

Will be interesting to see how he gets on at Arsenal.
