He's probably the best striker in Pes 21 before the game removed him. Of course in Master League game mod where you can develop him. I remember favoring him over Ronaldo as the main #9 and Ronaldo is a true beast in that game with basically all the critical attributes maxed out

Yes imo he' probably the best striker in that game mate
Both can have 99 attacking 99 pace 99 acceleration 99 finishing 99 shooting power etc. but Greenwood by default have max points for both feets (you can't develop this) while Ronaldo doesn't and he is much smoother. When you play Ronaldo you always feel he's a bit cumbersome when he changes direction. And Greenwood can shoot from any position, any angle by both feet with insane power and accuracy. Ronaldo is usually stronger and has much better jump but I don't use crossing much so I'd prefer Greenwood over him.
Of course it's only a game but the developer did rate him very high imo. Because like FM players can only develop to certain max level and Greenwood was in the same bracket with Ronaldo, Mbappe, Neymar etc.
If they qualify as a professional club, I highly doubt we would be able to score 12 goals against them to be fair.

I like Antony he's a baller but after his performance today even if Greenwood is now only half the player he once was I'd love to have him back. Antony has been utter utter crap lately and our right wing is fecking dead again. Pellistri has the attitude but not the talent unfortunately. And we really really need more goals.

Greenwood is still 10 times the player Antony is. Game intelligence, movement, finishing, passing..... he's just far better at football. Antony is quite possibly the worst purchase in the club's history.
His technique is definitely still there ,you can tell his one of Getafe's best on the ball when he gets it. Physically it's also clear that he is still far off from himself not that his bad but his burst of pace for instance isnt back yet.
Anthony comparisons are insulting. Greenwood is a much better player than Anthony...he is even better than Hojlund and I like hojlund. Greenwood is a top tier footballer...can pass, can shoot, can dribble, can link up, great movement etc. A player like him will cost in the region of 150m. He will end up at barca or madrid if he just keeps his head down and plays. After Harry Kane grows old... England fans will want him back

That burst of pace is very important in the PL though. Let's wait a bit more then imo. He can't move until Jan at least anyway.

I very much doubt his story is finished here. Especially if by seasons end Antony is still this shit and Greenwood continues to improve his fitness while showing he still has the technique. The club already spent 100s of millions on RW so I don't see how they will be willing to spend anymore on that position. Arnold already tried and fumbled. I'm guessing whoever it is that is that position next summer might try a different approach.
Well, we haven’t seen Amad at all this season, but he is ahead of those we have seen, definitely. So if it continues like that, who knows…

Slightly different being at United to Getafe though isn’t it. How would you mute the noise around him in this country? He would be slaughtered in every ground in the country, journalists would be writing about it constantly, how would you mute that?

The journalists would have a field day for a while, but it would die down eventually. The world moves on.
I reckon they might matter to him mate. It would be a horrendous atmosphere to try and play football and it would be non stop all season. He would get it at Old Trafford from the home fans too.
You mute that by drive positive media around him. Fight fire by fire. Didn’t the Getafe ceo or someone higher up said that as the case has been clear for him by the police , he’s free to play and just shut down everyone. That’s a start. There was some dissent against him when he first arrived but slowly that has dried down.
I agree that the noise hefe would be more but if the team and management and our media can help positively fight that, it would eventually die down. Other players like Partey and all are playing.
Yeah feck that. It’s literally enabling abusers. If I heard audio of one of my co-workers abusing their partner, and the company wanted me to go out and say something positive about them, I’d tell them where to go.

Antony is certainly not a Baller
I don't think Antony is a travesty but he's more top 10 winger level as opposed to upper table. He has his uses and some attributes but against tougher opposition he's easily managed out the game with a little intensity and physicality.
