There was a moment in the second half when one of our players fired it at him chest height and he controlled it incredibly into a pass. Probably won’t see it again but it was unreal.
Does a lot of that Cunha, little moments where you feel like it's a bit audacious to try something in such little space then it comes off.

I feel like a huge part of his game is just how much he backs himself.

Yeah, that was so good I actually laughed. He's by far the most talented player we've had since Pogba. But he's a fecking lion as well. I know he wanted the #10, but he should wear the #7.

Yeah, he just tries things that most players wouldn't and he blows past confused defenders.

Things haven't been happening for him in terms of G/A output, but the likes of today he still manages to make an impact

I remember that moment, I think it was Bruno's pass and he somehow managed to control it.

His shithousing towards the end was quite something especially when VVD i believed attempted to restart the game while one of their own players was down, comedy gold as long as oneself is not at its receiving end of course.

Looking at him and Mbeumo play I feel like it’s the best window we had in a decade. Irrespective of how people feel about tactics and Ruben, I think we’re set for years with the additions we made.

Class and quality. And shithousery. All in one.

Tireless worker off the ball today.

His talent will shine through eventually but it's great to see him work himself into the ground.

I’m sure the media will have an article on him about goals and assists shortly.

Was a shithouse today when we needed that and I absolutely loved it. He seems to hold onto the ball so well, and progresses it nicely too. Goals and assists will come but I really value his skill set. He was our best player second half I reckon.

I know he doesn't have the goal involvements in the stats yet, but he's absolutely passing the eye test. That was his best performance since joining us.

I don't think you people saw my post. You are of course excused. And excuse the low quality. But there is no gif-servant on the Caf any longer unfortunately, so I had to shit-mix this.

How good is that? Look at his reaction on the ground, the ability with both feet. He's another level to everyone else. Amazing.

The way he retains the ball is special, really hard to dispose him, he's technical, fairly fast and strong. The G/A are missing but they will come. He was crucial for today's result.

He seemed like the only one who could keep the ball in the last minutes, everyone was panicking just kicking it up but not Cunha he was driving it asking everyone to be calmed. Every time he got the ball I felt secure.

Love him. MOTM for me today

I wish he was scoring though. Come on Mattheus

Played with such a swagger today, we have missed that greatly since Zlatan. Last seasons performance with Wolves gave him such belief

Hard not to see the spirit of someone like Rooney in him after a performance like that. Once the goal comes, feels like it will open the floodgates for him.

His ball carrying is absolutely top class. Clearly stands out in this team as a rare player who can come out of any tight situation with complete control of the ball.

But he needs to start impacting score lines too. He’s just completely lacked a decisive edge in the early part of his United career. Needs a bit of what Mbeumo has in this regard.

I'm increasingly convinced he could play in a 4-3-3 on the left of midfield at a very high level similar to say Mousa Dembele from Spurs. His ball carrying, technical ability and physicality along with his constant desire to drop deeper and get involved makes me think he'd suit it. Of course Amorim is never going to play that 4-3-3 but it would open the door to singing someone like Semenyo at LW.

He was immense today. Maybe he could have released the ball earlier a couple of times but it's a small criticism given the rest of his performance.

We should just get down on our knees and thank God we have a character like this at our club instead of Garnacho, Sancho or Rashford.

Even without a goal/assist his performance last night was top class. Reminded me of Rooney, didn't wanna give up on duels.

Really great player. I have no doubt he will be a success here, and get on the stat sheet as well soon. But he is also the type of player that can be immensely valuable without providing goals or assists.

Brave, Brash Brazilian...love the attitude, love the fearlessness with which he plays...and just imagine what he turns into once he scores a few goals for us.

He's the catalyst this team needs...the firestarter.... and once he starts firing on all cylinders we're going to become an offensive juggernaut!

We finally have our own Neymar. His ball carrying is absolutely elite. He doesn’t look to have the most natural dribbling ability but he just somehow goes past players

He's deceptively strong, so difficult to dispossess which is priceless when holding onto a lead like yesterday.

About time we had a player or two of that ilk, isn’t it? Been sick of facing players like that over the years. I think the likes of Amad and Mbeumo are also getting into the “hard to dispossess” category too.

I think it’s all good signs that the recruitment might finally be in the right hands. If we add a few more like that then we’ll be cooking.
The entire front line including Sesko and Amad are difficult to dispossess now. Where we struggle to retain possession is in midfield where Bruno, Casemiro and Ugarte are not great and resisting the press and retaining possession. Once we sort that out we are going to be significantly better as a team.

He has that lower body strength, balance and smart way to use his body. Bruno is a bit similar, but not quite to the same level. Not to shit constantly shit on Højlund, but he's a good example of the opposite - someone with a lot of muscle, but not really the balance and ability to make use of it.
