Been poor. After the initial excitement I had for his signing, I've been very underwhelmed so far. He needs to get his act together.

He had a bright start to his caeer here, being a little unfortunate not to score a few but he's been on a real decline since and looks jaded. Hopefully he can sort it out because he's just a passenger at the moment.

Needs to do better, but, he's not a CF. He's struggled whenever we've played him there.

I guess we’re going to see him upfront a bit more now with Sesko injured but he adds almost nothing in that position.

Hopefully he's just trying to do too much right now and once he settles down it'll come more naturally for him. But at the moment Mbeumo, Mount and Amad (if we count him as an attacker) are the three that are in form and Cunha and Sesko need to be rotated until one of them hit form.

Cunha did spend most of the game at striker which in theory gives him some excuse, but if anything he seemed to get worse when he dropped back to the #10.

Looks like a problem at the mo’ because when he’s bad, he’s a liability. At the least, if he’s not doing well beating men, play the ball early to wide open colleagues, but no! He’ll try the same dribble 5 times even if he’s making no headway. That needs fixing, pronto.

He needs to learn a thing a two from Mbeumo on how to play football.

Not proven to be an upgrade on Rashford just yet, but hopefully will find his feet

I actually think he didn't start too well here, got better a couple weeks back and has now had a bad game. Essentially, I think he'd been slowly improving and now just had a really bad game

He gets picked up front for Brazil so I'm not surprised that we're trying it after signing him and with Sesko still settling and not scoring every week

However he doesnt look like he can do that role in the premier league. He needs to run with the ball from deeper than the striker position. I dont want to see him starting up front again soon

He didn't do much at the start either, just ran with the ball but produced nothing.

His worst game in a while for me. I do like him and he suits us but I would like to see more. Especially with mbeumo and amad leaving for afcon over Christmas.

He was just very loose with the ball and couldn't get going at all.

I like him and he’s been ok so far but I was expecting so much more. I actually thought he was better than Mbuemo prior to them both signing but there is a huge difference between the two so far in a Utd shirt. Hopefully just settling in

Bit disappointed with how poor he's been when receiving the ball in tight spaces. Needs to get his head up and find a team mate too, instead of thinking he can run straight into 3 players and re-emerge with the ball.

It's always easier to pass the ball and then run than always carrying it

Ndiaye and Morgan Rogers are probably the players in the prem I trust to carry the ball the most - and I'm saying this without knowing/looking at stats - just from watching them

Even his good performances for United so far have been quite overrated.

I had some high expectations considering he was PL proven but he has been dissapointing so far.

I remember hearing an analysis about how he thrived in Wolves because he was allowed to drop very deep out of the front line almost so his team mates are in front of him which allows him play balls in to the space.

I'm not sure he will get the ability to do that here. He has to be a better attacker and be more intrinsic in the final third.

Doesn't seem to know when to keep it simple.
Also, he has flair but his technique isn't as good as most (especially he) think it is.

Shocking today, really felt like he lost the ball every time he got it.

He has Pogba syndrome in that because he knows he has ability to run with the ball and has strength, he feels the need to show off that ability every time he gets it, resulting in unnecessary losses of possession.

Just pass the fecking ball and keep it simple.

Holds on to the ball for too long. Needs to read the game better and know when to dribble and when to keep it simple.

Exactly. His game strikes me as a player who wants to outshine his team mates and be the main character at all costs. Cunha would not have made that pass that Mount gave to Sesko.

Just release the ball. The amount of times him and Bruno had simple layoffs/passes and didn’t do them and lost possession was infuriating.

Looking like a very selfish player. He needs to learn how to actually release runners, no need to carry the ball all by yourself. For his chance today the slow-motion replay actually showed that he didn't even lift his head up to look around, he was completely focused on shooting ignoring Mbeumo who basically had a tap in at the far post.

I get that he's the new number 10 and is trying to make more of an impact but his decision making in this game massively helped Tottenham. He turned 1 or 2 situations where we had the numerical superiority into counters for them. Poor performance today.

Three good performances so far, not good enough for a player who single-handedly kept Wolves up last year. Needs to find some consistency.

A bit disappointing. Seems to have moments of real quality but then goes quiet in games. Not really offering enough consistently.

Agree with everything said, I’m decidedly underwhelmed at his performances so far. Hes far too lightweight on the ball, always seems to be a yard or 6 behind play and incredibly selfish with no end product. I’d have brought Zirkzee on to replace him and had Sesko up front.

Amorim needs to start attaching electrodes to Cunha's balls that give him an electric shock every time he doesn't pass the ball.

I think it’s worrying that we’re supposedly signing player who can fit any system, but if we move away from playing with a #10, he better be able to play effectively as a LW. Because from what I’ve seen he’s no no. 9.

Slow and lethergic today with a poor touch - everything you would not expect from him.

Thought he would take off post Brighton goal - it's been the opposite.

I think he is wasted in CF role. He had only one game so far on that position. We paid 60 mil for him to play on his natural position, not on striker.

He's more of a maverick, will have amazing games and then matches like today where he can't get into the match. I think Mbeumo is much more consistent but Cunha can have matches where he reaches a higher level. Unfortunately today wasn't one of those games.

I’ve yet to see him have one amazing game for us at all. Mbeumo is, on the face of what I’ve seen so far, streets ahead of him.

It’s a disadvantage for him, but his biggest issues haven’t been positioning or trouble dealing with his surroundings, they’ve almost totally revolved around terrible decision making that could be avoided with simple 5-10 yard passes to wide open teammates begging for the ball.

I wasn’t thinking: ‘poor up top’ today, I was instead exasperated by the choices he was making with the ball at his feet.

Also, he really needs to understand that the element of surprise is in his best interests unless he morphs into Messi or “R9”. The more unsuspecting the opponent is of his dribbling, the more threatening it would become by default, but that requires him to pass the ball enough times to condition the opponent. By going for the dribble every time, he makes it far easier for his opponents as they can really lock in on him and go straight for the ball with no doubt he’s bait and switching them.

He either needs to improve his dribbling tenfold or understand that teammates make his job infinitely easier; right now he’s not talented enough to be so maverick.
