I like him as a player, but if we're honest, Garnacho had more impact for Amorim than Cunha has had.

At the start of the season he wasn't scoring goals, but at least he was an impactful player. Now he just seems to go missing, but I still think he deserves some more time to show quality. He's gonna have to step up soon when the AfCon start or we're in trouble

I don’t see him ever working out in this formation. He wants to drop in too much.

He played like he'd been out for 6 months. I hope he'll shake the rust off and get going again.

AWFUL player. He missed an open goal, he can’t pass to save his life, and he is just a non-player.

He will last a year or two max at united.

He's never been one to be devastating for 90 minutes. He's always been in and out of games, went missing then either scored a screamer or showed some nice skill/run

Second time Amorim just throws him back into the team after time out and he was shite this time just like the last. He should have been on the bench and come on against tired legs.

He clearly wasn't ready to start today, he looked totally off the pace of the game.

Well it wasn't tonight.
Good answer. Spot on. Absolutely anonymous display, very poor and has been nothing short of disappointing thus far. The heralded arrival has not really born fruit yet, has it? A long way to go in the season but he needs to start showing much better form asap as he looks a shadow of the player he was at Wolves - yes, I know he missed time but that was a very poor showing tonight.

He's not it tbh. I thought he was a massive gamble, but didn't mind it too much but I'd sell him without a second thought if we got an offer to recoup his fee in the summer.

Has had a few good moments and it’s early days but he has been a flop so far. Needs to start improving quickly now, especially with AFCON approaching.

Looks like he needs a run of games each time after an absence to get his rhythm back - difficult when we need him to impact the team immediately

What should be a massive concern is that he doesn't learn or even attempt to play a team game. He doesn't look up, or pass when it's the easiest thing on; he'd rather run straight into the opposition and lose the ball for no reason, than try and play a steady build-up involving teammates.

He's looking like the type of player who is custom-made to be a big fish in a small pond where that kind of maverick play is not frowned upon, but desired and praised.

His lack of productivity in the final 3rd is not the biggest concern with him at all - he looks like he's meeting his teammates for the first time in each game he plays, and he's not trying to learn from previous games as he comes out and does the exact same thing that was ineffective, again and again.

If he can't get over that, it's either he becomes effective as a soloist or we have a massive liability on our hands.

Had a glorious opportunity to put the game to bed after Mbeumo's non-penalty, he needs to do better with that.

Still, not surprising he looked rusty, he's been out for a couple of weeks and needs to get back to match fitness.

Honestly, I'm not in doubt that him and Mbeumo are still quality players. We've seen it for years in the PL and when they've been at their best here.

Put him in a proper formation and a well-coached team.

Tbf they had 1 good season. There was always huge question marks of whether they were ever going to replicate their production from last season.

He is better playing deep than further forward because of his transitioning.

Other than that I've not seen much to his game.

My main problem with him is his selfish play. He's trying way too hard to make something happen himself. You can't do everything yourself against a low block. Needs to pass way more.

I dont think he's much of a passer. A pure ball carrier and a occasional goal threat.

He didn't look 100% tonight, won't take too much from this particular game, but he is direct at least.

He reminds me on those guys in 5-a-side football who stroll around, get the ball and go in solo run.
Little things like running into space, one-twos, defending......nah, not interested. It is all or nothing.

I have no doubt in his ability but why is he so selfish? At least try to link up with your players instead of just trying to bomb through 5 defenders every single game. You're not carrying Wolverhampton anymore.

I feel like he's trying too hard to prove he was worth the fee. It would be better if he kept things more simple. You don't have to everything yourself to be an asset.

We had a absolute free hit with him, which was odd in itself.
There were numerous clips, videos, analyses and Wolves fans opinions which all pointed on this what we are watching so far. Patchy player who is not involved in play unless he is the one who is centre of those plays.

He looks shit but then again so do most in this system. The worrying thing is its not obvious how he would fit into a 433 or 4231 given that 10 position is meant to be his ideal position
