He is clutch, something we desperately need. His goals vs Arsenal and Villa both came right after conceding an equaliser.

Are we done pretending he can’t play out wide?
Loving watching him rinse each FB over the last couple of weeks, when he stays out wide and drives in he’s so threatening. What he needs next is to start getting regular assists.

He's class. Started slow but turning out the better signing between him and Mbeumo.

Rashford but good.

Hope he can get to double digit goals for the season. Mbeumo and Big Ben are both very close. Having all 3 of our attacking summer signings on 10 or more goals would be nice, for once.

He's such an enigma, he could be having a bad game or be quiet and suddenly pop up with a moment of brilliance for an assist or a goal.He would benefit immensely if we had an overlappng LB.

Looked much better, had more drive and purpose in his game. He has the talent to beat players and cause havoc, just needs to keep that level up.

I hope so. But there are folks on here like that Japanese soldier who was discivered in the 1970s in the Philippines who thought he was still fighting World War II who had to hear it directly from his commanding officer that the war was over. Utterly bizarre how dug in some people can be.

The problem with Cunha earlier in the season was the brain dead Amorim tactics that made everyone, including Bruno, play worse than what they were capable of.

His celebration must be so triggering for the opposition fans and I fecking love it  It reminds me when we were playing FIFA with a group of friends back in the days and used to do a silly celebration after scoring to trigger them
Speaking of celebrations, did anyone spot his celebration with/micky take of Sesko's leap as he tried to jump high with him!

My son and I were complaining he'd gone missing for the first part of the game and then he has a monster goal and very influential in the second half.

Cunha literally put in a few perfect crosses in the first half. What was missing was someone on the end of the crosses.

What a player. I love watching him. So good on the ball an quick with his feet and a brilliant goal scorer.

Everybody was raving about Bruno‘s pass and while it was fantastic the finish I was ice cold.

I didn’t think he’d be this good on the left but these last few performances have been really convincing.

Beyond the tactics I think playing on the left wing also goes some way to mitigate the inconsistancies of his first touch that were so jarring playing as the LAM under Amorim.

Don't mean to compare but at times I see him playing a bit like Neymar. Which is very hard to defend against.
Not a traditional winger, not a traditional forward but always comes up with brilliant moments that catch defenders off guard.
I've always thought we need a player like him in the squad. These are the kind of players who can win you an european final where unpredictability is more valuable than a rigid system.

I actually think he can be a very good LWF when he wants to be, he's good with both feet, is fast enough to get away from defenders, has a mean cross off his 'weaker' foot and can beat players for fun. He likes to drift in field, but he can very easily go on the outside as well, which gives us a level of unpredictability.

Very strange. I’m sure the next time he isn’t seen standing on the touchline there’ll more of the same comments.

If you watch his highlights prior to Wolves, a lot of times he was actually attacking from the left.

Ineos, by all noises coming from the club, made a decision to buy players for the club last summer, and not necessarily wedded to one manager formation. This is beginning to show.

Good players can be effective in multiple areas of the pitch and Cunha is one foe sure. It’s all depends on how you utilise their skill set with tactics and complimentary players. For me his best when drifting at times anyway and finding pockets of space to run into.

I like that Carrick has allowed these players to express themselves again and that has benefited our creative players like him and Bruno. I’m looking for him to produce a few more moments before the end of the season.

The criticism of Cunha is very strange. It’s an undeveloped theory, perhaps a bonkers one, but what I think happens on social media and forums like this is that many posters can’t help themselves but nitpick players of the club they support and when they make mistakes, as humans often do, they feel the need to show how smart they are and start demanding an upgrade.

That often makes sense. Ugarte is the leading current example. But Cunha is no Ugarte. He’s scoring goals, critical goals and not stat-pad goals, and creating chances. And he digs deep in on the defensive end that even on his best day Rashford would have turned his nose up at.

At the time, I wasn't in favour of this transfer, but Cunha has grown on me. Besides good attitude, there's something about his game that I haven't seen at United in a long time. I can't put my finger on it.

I think that's only because Mbeumo is a little out of form and looking tired after AFCOM. They're both fantastic signings with so much more to come. It's great to have decent forward options again. A genuine relief.

Bournemouth 2:2 Man Utd New
Class again and should never have been subbed off.

He’s played very well last couple games. Happy to admit I was wrong about him if he keeps it up

Only attacker on form, I'm not counting Sesko cause clearly Carrick doesn't fancy him.
I don't think that Carrick does not like Šeško, rather, he dose not want to mess with a formula that has worked really well.

Cunha was good again tonight.

Some lovely touches that helped us move the ball up field. His chest control was fantastic a couple of times does look like if Bruno isn't going to step up Cunha is next in line to do something because right now we look bereft of ideas on how to create.

He doesnt want to start a striker. He's been lucky Sesko has bailed him out
No, he's managed Sesko well. Sesko hasn't really had a good game when he's started for us, he has a far bigger impact off the bench.

Anyway, Cunha I think will overtake Mbeumo as signing of the season for us. Joy to watch.

Lammens has already won that after watching the Onana horror show featuring Bayindir for two years.

Yeah, but I think the bar was too low for that to be signing of the season for me. I think we could have put a traffic cone in there and seen little difference.

He scored when he started. Thats his job as a striker

He hasnt had a chance to start since then and our other option doesnt even get in the box. He's been held back when hes been one of the most in form strikers in the league
