I've been watching Cunha since Wolves and the players that reminded me of him at Wolves was actually Mctomminay & Bellingham.

This is not stylistic but more how players like Mctomminay could be the most important player for Scotland; having clutch ability to score the first goal or the last goal. Bellingham is the same where he kind of knows and how to deliver at the right time to get an important goal.

I don't watch alot of live football - the players that scored the most often on my live apps was Mctomminay for Scotland & Napoli, Bellingham for his first 2 season for Real Madrid & Cunha for Wolves.

They were not strikers; yet they would be scary consistent goalscorers that made the game change when the team needed it the most.

He kind of found that ability in to the 2nd half of the season & there's a part of me that doesn't want him to sit on the bench because his consistent ability to be a goalscorer may actually make us weaker if he was on the bench alot more.

Players like Diomande & Vinicius Jnr are players that would demand to be starting every single game; which will see Cunha sitting on the bench much more than this season.

He has that ability to score goals of importance like Macheda's goal but spread across the whole of the season. We have to decide if having Cunha on the bench is the best deal for us atleast until Bruno decides to leave. I do feel like our LW is stronger than our RW and as Amad has sometimes shown, having dribbling ability without end product is not really worth much & Cunha has one of the best outputs in the Premier League.

I feel like they're pretty similar. Mbeumo and Cunha were equally productive last season despite Mbeumo's lack of form for the second half of the season (both finished with 14 G/A in 33 PL games). Dorgu shaded Amad slight in productivity, but I'm hoping Amad can show some better form and return to being the productive player he was the season before.

I find this post really confusing and not sure of the point you’re trying to get across. Why would he be on the bench? There’s no talk of us being in for Diomande or Vini.

For the record I think he’s fantastic, I see him as a no 10 eventually but love his ability and attitude, arrogant yet likeable and works hard.

If we can find a proper role for him he’ll have a top season. Kind of needs to at 27 - moving into his prime?
 
Seems a very likable person, on top of helping his local garage with a free Ad, the thing I noticed is he is spending holidays in his home town with family and friends rather going on some expensive holidays to an exotic place.Nice one

I wish he will have a cracking season, he helped the team last year by playing on wide left which is not his natural position, but he cant play as a 10 until Bruno is here, means we need to try him as a strirker? may be with Sesko as 2 upfront?
 
His role on the left is fine, but seeing as he naturally tucks in to occupy central spaces, to get the most out of him and the team you need a naturally marauding left back who overlaps a lot. Especially if you go for added solidity with Yoro at RB.

Not many better than Truffert for this, although doubt he'd be available for cheap. Dorgu got this marauding style too, think he could make that role his.

This is one of the reason's why I believe Dorgu can become a LB (who was played on the wing predominantly due to AFCON/injuries).
 
Would love to see him build a partnership with Dorgu. Unfortunately it looks like Shaw is gonna watch him try and beat 2 men from 30 yards back.
