All joking about Spurs aside, Kane must have been in his ear how reluctant Levy is to sell a player that wants out
Thought the same thing. That club is tougher to get out from than hotel California.

You're having a bit of a meltdown over a player with 12 career goals that (allegedly) would've cost £8m for four months

It's more the fact we have not signed anyone which has really annoyed me. Cannot fathom INEOS not having brains to offer straight loan as well

Really hope we are not stupid enough to sign a striker who hasn’t scored this season

You just know he’s going to score the winner against us in the Europa League final.

Yes, yes, we’re not making the final. I think I’d rather go out in the RO16 than lose a European final to spurs tbh.

Alternatively, even if he's not the perfect fit, a forward who gets a few goals for us is better than forwards who are scoring no goals.

It's not like we're choosing between him and Batistuta.
It’s an expensive loan. 8m fee and hefty wages to boot. He hasn’t even got a goods coring record to justify it.

Our next PL game is Spurs away you know for a fact this guy is scoring a goal and the fans/press will be hammering the club yet again

Thing with Spurs is they're a free scoring side, scoring 20 more goals than us, joint 3rd highest PL scorers, one goal off second highest, have a +11 GD and still somehow sit 14th, to our 13th position. For Tel he should be finding the net easier at Spurs so should be a good loan move for him and Bayern.

No doubt he'll knock us out of Europa, probably score against us in the league but Spurs should be climbing the table anyway, they're bit of an anomaly down in 14th.

Hey now, he's at 16 career goals at Bayern. And 107 minutes per goal or assist isn't actually all that bad. I agree that he has a hell of a lot to prove and improve, but his stats aren't quite as bad as you make them look.

The fee is still ridiculous if true, of course.

I'm certainly exaggerating and his per minutes stats last season were very good. But at the same time, I don't think he's shown enough to lead any line

That we agree on. I've already said somewhere earlier in this thread that I do not see him as a solitary CF either. I still think he can be useful for Tottenham (or other teams at that), but nobody should expect miracles from him.

A lot will depend on if he can find his stride quickly, I think. He's been looking quite desperate to shine in a few of his appearances this season at Bayern, which only made him look worse. This reset at a different club may help, or might make it worse since the expectations are bigger than at Bayern.

So Spurs are fluffing up another player for a bigger team who will use said player themselves or sell on just like they did with Regulion? And paying £8m to do that?

You cant blame him for joining Spurs over us, they're not great either but not the shit show we are at the moment
I don’t think we were a realistic option for him to be fair, Spurs are his only option considering the financial parameters demanded by Bayern.

It’s Spurs they feck up in finals and go missing
