This means he will have enough to be in contention for the final. So from next week We really need him against Spurs, they have a very tall and physical side, we need him alongside Harry and Yoro to form a strong presence with Casemiro in front, should be enough for crosses and set pieces.
Also his leadership will be needed when things get a bit hairy!

I feel we’ve missed the leadership qualities of De Ligt. A few months back he was performing very well, and despite Maguire’s Euro heroics, I think we’ve missed De Ligt.

What exactly are his leadership qualities?

Well I’ve never met him, but him captaining Ajax as a teenager coupled with what you see in the pitch: working his socks off, cajoling/encouraging teammates all point to a good leader.

Maguire does that as well, and I think he's had the better season between the two. That's not saying much however, in my opinion

I like Maguire and he’s had some iconic moments this season, but I think De Ligt has been better.

Has he not trained today then? Shame, big miss for tomorrow.
Several players coming back it seems but not de Ligt unfortunately. Guess it would be nice if he can be fit for Villa game at least, even though that game is mostly meaningless.

Yeah big miss I think.

I fancied us to set piece our way to victory if him and Zirkkzee were fit alongside the other lads who are useful in the air.

I was thinking it could be a massive year for him if Bruno and some other big names are leaving in the summer. He’s done alright so far, a bit like Maguire this season, however next year, he has to step up and be the leader of the defence, especially if we persist with this formation.

I doubt anyone will be in for him in the summer so he has to get his career firing again just as much as we have to improve.

If Bruno leaves I hope De Ligt can maintain the form and fitness to be the next team leader.
He was captain of Ajax at eighteen, he’s played for four of the biggest clubs in the world and won titles with the previous three, so he should have it in him. There were a few times early on this season where I felt he was a bit too passive though.

I don’t really like seeing him as anything other than the centre of the back 3. He should be flanked by two much quicker defenders.

Martinez De Ligt Yoro works for me, although I'm really intrigued by Heaven. Maguire and Shaw, who are going nowhere, can cover as needed. But of course we won't see Martinez until at least January I would think. But De Ligt adapted to the intensity of the PL and grew into the role for us and at times was magnificent.

And 2 of the big teams were more than happy to sell him. We should look to do so soon as well, I've read he's also on huge wages I don't know how the board sanctioned that. Feel like he's had multiple poor moments that have been swept under the carpet but with United fans if you love a rash tackle, or a last ditch slide you'll always be highly rated

I found this out via a YouTube video but he divorced her over her weird fatuation with dark spirits and witches and things like that. Crazy eh. You think he would know her pretty well to marry her.
Shit happens. I was with a 'witchy' woman and it was harmless at first. Covid hit and she nose dived down every conspiracy theory rabbit hole there was. Didn't last long after that.

He can be a important player for Man Utd for the next 4-5 years. He has experience and leadership to offer alongside our young talented defenders in Yoro and Heaven.

I thought he had a solid season. Made some mistakes but which CB doesn't. I want him to be a bit more progressive in his passing which I think he is capable off because he does hit some nice long balls.

I heard that she was making suggestions about using these 'alternative' medicines for his recoveries which frustrated him. If so then good riddance
