You're putting too much blame on a guy. If he closes down when you're saying the other attacker isn't offside and a pass puts him through on goal. I don't think you put much blame on the defender who is left 2 v 1 there, especially when the shot should be saved.
The reason Dalot can't affect the winger isn't just because he's out of position, it's because he actively runs away from his position during the move. Watch his movement.
He can only pass him away from goal towards the outside of the box. De Ligt has goalside covered with a good position. So he just needs to to keep that angle and confront the attacker 1 second before. He takes 1 heavy step too many jockeying - it looks like he gambles that the pass will be made, but that overcommits him to the outside and leaves 5 yards of space inside to get the shot away. He makes a tiny bit of progress before the shot comes in but its mainly moving towards the middle of the goal rather than out to the attacker and the shot comes in between Yoro and De Ligt. I think Yoro could have helped more as well but De Ligt can cover the run and still confront the attacker and stop the shot coming in so easily
