None of us have really any idea how Yoro will develop over the next few years. 50m or not, I don't think its feasible to expect an 18/19 year old kid to nail down a starting position for Man United in the PL. But Yoro is way off topic for the thread.

A lot gets put into us rebuilding an area of the team. We've signed 3 players, and done well there in my opinion, but clubs sign more than 3 players all the time. Darlow and Thompson I'm not counting, hopefully for obvious reasons.

To answer the City parallel, their finance is much much stronger and much shadier. They can make moves like this because of a strong financial position, unlike the new decision makers at United.

Him not playing under Carrick due to his injury means feck all in the grand scheme of things, especially given that he’s nearing a return in the coming weeks.
