Deligt, Rashford,Santos,Youri and Baleba=5 top class signings,,,happy summer guys!
If the back surgery hasn't worked then his career is over, this kind of surgery is usually done as the last resortLittle confidence he can play injury free for a longer period of time. Will also take plenty of games to get him in form and match ready
My only concern is how many players come back and reach their same heights after back surgery? General question, because I can't think of any.
Plenty but not footballers, that's why I was asking about footballers. How many players can you think of that had back surgery?
6 now with Zirkzee. What a window.Deligt, Rashford,Santos,Youri and Baleba=5 top class signings,,,happy summer guys!
Training on grass, that's the last update I saw. When is he expected back?
Thanks!Training on grass, that's the last update I saw.
Either he or Carrick will be gone next season. Or bothJust seen a stat there, 11 different managers in 11 diff seasons for DeLigt.. thats mental
The guy has never played under Carrick, Carrick who has been a manager since January 2026, who meet him injured. How long has this guy been out now? I can’t even remember.
It’s really annoying because although he’s lost a yard of pace, he’s still a pretty good and brave defenderThe guy has never played under Carrick, Carrick who has been a manager since January 2026, who meet him injured.
He has 42 PL appearance since 2024 August.
Even Urgate has played more times than him. Urgate, Zirkzee all have played more than him for United in PL.
You mean Thursday?I really hope he gets some minutes today, a fully fit De Ligt is comfortably our best CB
I like him when fit, but he’s just no where near fit enough so we need to sell him for whatever next chance we get.The guy has never played under Carrick, Carrick who has been a manager since January 2026, who meet him injured.

He's had back surgery for what is potentially a career ending injury, I doubt they'll be risking him anytime soonYou mean Thursday?
He must be ready to be on the bench now surely
doubt he’ll play much before the new year. Think it was mentioned easing him in after the international break.I really hope he gets some minutes today, a fully fit De Ligt is comfortably our best CB
Has he retired? He's had back surgery for what is potentially a career ending injury, I doubt they'll be risking him anytime soon
I’d rather have someone who is on the pitch.I really hope he gets some minutes today, a fully fit De Ligt is comfortably our best CB
We're not going to see him play competitive football anytime soon. Some pictures of him running and smiling in the training, but I would be surprised if he is allowed in the pitch soon (before Christmas let's say).
We've seen clips of him in normal training for a while now. We're not going to see him play competitive football anytime soon. Some pictures of him running and smiling in the training, but I would be surprised if he is allowed in the pitch soon (before Christmas let's say).
