I wouldn’t mind getting rid off both Maguire and Varane, sign DeLigt along with Torres or Ndicka. Show Tuanzebe, Bailly, Jones the door as well.

We turned him down because we felt he had a fat gene and watching him at Juve. They might be right again.

Pay bump, remove the €150m release clause, and move to England/Spain in 2 years when he’s 25.

On paper, he’s making a good decision.

Not surprised, seemed like very lazy journalism to link us with him

Great.

We're basically going to line up as Netherlands next season.
Don't worry mate. I recall us being linked with every Dutch player under LVG and we got Blind in the first year and Memphis in the second. Apart from Robben, I don't think LVG was interested in anyone else.

Top source for Ajax related things, not that I think we will go back for him again but how good is he in aerial duals.
Apparently he is very good in ariel duals, avg 2.9 per game, which is by far the highest in his team (Bonucci and Chellini is on 1.8)

The release clause lowering would make sense. Would be a ridiculous decision to commit for that long at Juventus otherwise. Juventus aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

Would love to have him here, in best case scenario he could give us so many peak years especially if ten hag sticks around long and is a big hit.

Him and de jong are the only ones I took a big interest in from that ajax team, the others like donny(sorry donny) and zyiqch didn't interest me that much, but still I don't think we'll ever get this one.

that's what people said about Barca and they seem to be back on course (although obviously not where they were). I can see Juve making a serious challenge for Serie A title next season

Barcelona are still far away from Real Madrid and winning CL's. They are still far bigger than Juventus, attract better players and can play infinite magic tricks with their finances.

AC, Inter and even Napoli are a lot better than Juventus and they have few young players that will improve them. They will not be a meaningful CL competitor anytime soon.

I agree that they are probable a way off winning the CL (although the best in Europe doesn't alway win it; I was certain it would be City this year) but I reckon they will finish above Napoli next season and very possible one of the Milan sides

Possibly, wouldnt bet my house on it. Think they're pretty awful.

Pimenta will meet Juve again this week and, they say, with a Chelsea offer for De Ligt in hand.

He's the one defender I was certain was going to the an absolute monster, a world-class player.

Yes, he's 22 already, not gonna improve now, even though he's already one of the best defenders...

Is he really one of the best defenders? He's not close to Virgil, Ruben, Rudiger, Marquinho, level IMO

Sure he'll probably improve. But for the paid fee and all the hype around him many of us expected him to be a generational talent.

Ruben and Rudiger too look much better in specific systems to be fair. I'd say Marquinhos and Virgil are better than the other two.

Well as posted here earlier, statistically he's one the best in the Serie A this year, but i was more commenting on the fact that you think a 22 year old defender can't improve anymore

I wouldn't bet my house on it either - and I wouldn't bet anything on United getting things right any time soon. That said, I can almost guarantee Liverpool losing 7-0 if i put £1 on them to win on Saturday night

If he wont extend his contract at Juve, I won't rule out him coming to us next year and moving on Slabbhead out.

The problem is that no one would take him.
We'll have to do the same thing we've been doing with other players because of the lack of competence of the former "regime" - sell players considering we'll lose money on them.

In next March Maguire will be 30YO and he's already way too slow to the PL. we'll have to replace him next year.

Would love to get de ligt as I had a hard on for him ever since his breakthrough season but to be honest I just don't see it happening, getting him would stretch our budget a bridge too far.
Also he isn't the fastest himself so we would need to pair him with a pacey center back if was ever to come here.

Sure, but watching him at Juve I would define his period as appalling

Specialist in hand balls and penalties

MEDIA=youtube]gACuhdBubBk[/MEDIA]
I mean, if that’s the best one one can do for a diss track for his entire career so far then he’s doing pretty well.

only about two of the handballs were clear hand balls and the rest is stuff that happens and that you’d expect he learned from.
