It is very important for the financial side of things, thats certainly true. But as I said - even without CL, it didn't show in the amounts we spent. And if putting financial things is in the top3 objectives, the club should also make sure, not to expensively buy out managers from their current teams only to pay them nice packages ones they are let go. They could also think about taking very good offers that come in for players and they should think about not extending contracts for players with no future. So while you certainly are right, CL is important for our standing - it also adds a lot of pressure since it is safe to say that we don't have a good 2nd team, we might have a good 1st one but when it comes to the 2nd string, stuff can get nasty fairly quick. I would also go for being a CL regular of course, the question is, how to get there. The coachs objective should be to make sure to maximize results - but there has to be a place or person that also makes sure that the mid- and longterm future is being taken care of. And I struggle to see that currently.
