If Carrick is the choice we do need to look into finding some more experienced assistant coaches (apart from Holland). We need a lot of work on our passing, shooting, pressing and defending.
Quite a chunk of that is down to players. No coach in the world is making Zirkzee good enough for Manchester United. If Carrick is the choice we do need to look into finding some more experienced assistant coaches (apart from Holland). I can’t believe we are now in a position where fans can just casually call these two donkeys now! How opinions change.Miricale worker
Getting 3rd place with donkeys like Amad, Mbuemo, Zirkzee and Dorgu among his attacking options
One of the best jobs in the premier league in the last couple of year, all 4 of the above are absolutley useless
I called Mbeumo’s form Antony like . I’m not sure which is more insultingI can’t believe we are now in a position where fans can just casually call these two donkeys now! How opinions change.
Counter attacks under him can be devastating, but really wish it was less chaotic at our end also. Obviously a better midfield should help with that, we desperately need more control in there.
We also need CBs who can push a higher line and compact that space in the middle. We drop back and invite teams on too often.
This place is amazing sometimes.Miricale worker

Dorgu has played well under Carrick and scored that worldie against Arsenal. The others haven't played well for him. That's fair.Miricale worker

It should not be forgotten the levels of shit Amorim and ETH took this club to. Commentators mentioned during the game that Forest had won 3 out of their last 4 against United with 1 draw.
What a dreadful postMiricale worker

For me the biggest lesson from Amorim disaster was that no manager should get so much time if they can't make any impact within the first six months. Yes managers deserve time but if you are so bad that then you deserve to go as soon as possible.Exactly this.
It's been so lovely to be regularly winning games again. The 2 and a half seasons before Carrick came in we could barely win 2 in a row.
This reminds me of that infamous Moyes quote in 2014 about which areas United need to improve. If Carrick is the choice we do need to look into finding some more experienced assistant coaches (apart from Holland). We need a lot of work on our passing, shooting, pressing and defending.
Not a fan of Carrick? What a dreadful post
I'm not sure that Dorgu deserved this description either given that he has started only 2 games for Carrick and scored in both. Against City and Arsenal too.I can’t believe we are now in a position where fans can just casually call these two donkeys now! How opinions change.
Can someone refer or remind me to the premier league table when
1. Amorim was fired
2. Carrick stepped in
There are probably some scenarios where he gets sacked despite getting CL.Realistically, the only way Carrick leaves next summer is if we don't qualify for the CL, a scenario in which there will almost certainly be clauses in his contract reducing the compensation.
I'd love us to actually care about things like performances and style of play. But I don't for a second believe we'd be proactive enough to get rid of him for those reasons alone if he gets CL football again, even if the football is poor. So from the perspective of his contract, it's kind of irrelevant.
It’s more your ability to judge a player. Not a fan of Carrick?
Each to their own, but i think he's done a great job
Watching his post match speech at OT and it's a stark difference from these speeches under ETH or Amorim - He really gets this club and seems like he can handle media pressure well.

Mbuemo and Dorgu donkeys? Who do you want in the squad? What a strange take for a United fan.
I don’t think that’s the part people found dreadful. Not a fan of Carrick?

Amazes me that our fans thought blaming everyone else and taking no accountability was something to be praised in our managers.
ETH and Amorin mastered that, just throw the players under the bus and insinuate the club let you down, fans lapped it up for far too long.
