Latest Netflix Horror-drama from Mike Flanagan (Haunting of Hill House, Haunting of Bly Manor).
Watch it feckers, it's great.

I think i just found how centered and fixated it was on catholicism a chore to watch. I prefered Bly Manor and its not close for me.I thought it was really good. Had its flaws (scenes being needlessly long /dragged out chief along them)... But in terms of setting an atmosphere and creating a world through which to tell a story I thought it did a great job. The acting was also very very strong across the board.
It's definitely weaker then Hill House (but then that's one of the best series of TV Netflix has ever created in my opinion) but it's leaps and bounds better then Bly Manor.... I mean, its not even close
I been banging on about this series for years but nobody has ever heard of it... I was starting to think I imagined it for a minute thereWow, couldn't disagree more with most of the reviews here. Highly recommend to anyone who loves King - this is really similar to a kind of obscure mini-series he did called Storm of the Century which is also pretty good.
Some of the writing and acting in this is absolute top-level TV, would expect some recognition come award-season.
Probably a bit long to squeeze in before Halloween, but don't think you can do a lot better than this for recently released shows.
Just finished. Absolutely adored this. Maybe not for everyone, as the comments here show, but this was right up my alley.I been banging on about this series for years but nobody has ever heard of it... I was starting to think I imagined it for a minute there
I'm really enjoying midnight mass. The acting, writing, dialogue, characters and atmosphere are great. I got two eps to go. Pissed that my wife guessed the twist withing 2 episodes... She always bloody guesses films so easily, should be a detective!
