New tagline for this thread should be - big ego, small trophy cabinet.
That would be my main gripe with him if I was an Arsenal fan - you can't expect him to win the league, and they had some unfortunate injuries this season. They went to the CL semis which I'm sure most fans would've signed up for, first time in 16 years or what was it? But they used to be fun to watch when he first took over, right up until he first challenged for the league (I believe) two seasons ago. But now they are quite horrible to watch and seem to be only threatening from set plays, that isn't purely down to personnel available either. They played some attractive-ish stuff in the past, but they really sacrificed that this season and what do they have to show for it?
The bigger reason for their loss is that he forgot to bring the light bulb he usually uses for his motivational team talks.Arteta: "their keeper was MOTM"
Interviewer: "Hakimi was voted MOTM"
Arteta: "I spoke with some people and they all agree with me"
Interviewer: "which people?"
Arteta: "people"

Also why do they roll this Cnut out for every set piece? Fecking cringe worthy.

New left back incoming
I agree that they started off really good to watch under him and I thought they were building something. Yet he is now relying on corners and throw ins. The definitely need a striker, but what sort will he go for, a fast skillful one or someone who is good in the air for all these corners and throw ins. That would be my main gripe with him if I was an Arsenal fan - you can't expect him to win the league, and they had some unfortunate injuries this season. Think they're stuck where they are now unless they sign a 25+ goal striker this summer.
Arteta did win an FA cup, if you're comparing debut seasons.. and Amorim doesn't have a team with quality of 15th to be fair.I think not winning anything after almost 6 years is an even bigger crime than.. let's say Amorim finishing 15th after inheriting a shitshow of a team if he won the Europa this season.
He's so full of crap.Few days ago he was giving it the whole 'Timing' thing for the league and how Arsenal had more points than Liverpool in the last two seasons which is just lies, fakes new, bs propaganda. Arsenal ended on 89 and 84 points respectively the last two seasons, Liverpool go to 85 if they beat Arsenal this weekend, with two further games to play and Liverpool played what looked like a hungover hugely changed team against Chelsea as league won.
Then that guff last night, best team in the competition, better than PSG over the two legs, how does he not get called out for this. It's great for opposition fans as less likely things will change much if he really believes they are already the best.
Arsenal fans around me here in London are the same, they believe without any doubt that they are the best team in the league and it's just bad luck with injuries and bad reffing that costs them.
He apparently didn't get the pre-match kids drawing right this timeThe bigger reason for their loss is that he forgot to bring the light bulb he usually uses for his motivational team talks.
