Millie Turner injury update - out with dislocated knee-cap

"Manchester United can confirm that Millie Turner suffered a dislocated kneecap in last weekend’s Women’s Super League game against Leicester City.
She will now enter a period of rehabilitation under the supervision of the medical team at the club.
Everyone at United wishes Millie a speedy recovery."

So any doctors here? I presume this might be better news and a shorter recovery time than many other knee injuries? Or am I wrong?

Really hope she can come back 100% and soldier on, she has been terrific for us!

Twitter, last night, was suggesting that she's expected to be out until January. I've no idea where that rumour started though.

That kind of timeline fits the standard sort of dislocated kneecap description - about 6 weeks to mend then gradually build up fitness again.

Hopefully, the rehab well go well and there's no other long lasting damage to ligaments etc.
