They will now face Fortuna Düsseldorf.

United lost 3-2 to Düsseldorf in extra-time, Helafu scoring both United's goals. Good tournament overall, especially given the amount of players missing & how young the squad was.

Not sure if anyone’s watching the U21 match but the Wolves keeper just handled the ball outside the box and only got a yellow, is it up to the referee’s discretion at that level?

One of the best halves of the season from the 21s, some really lovely stuff being played.

Didn't see the game - but if his handling doesn't take away a goalscoring opportunity - it's yellow. It's only red if the attacking team could have scored but for the handling of the goalie

With Binnion now officially part of Carrick's staff, it'll be interesting to see what happens with the 21s. Do they just go for an interim type internal appointment 'til the end of the season & then he returns, or do they bring someone in? Adam Lawrence is the obvious option for the latter, provided he hasn't got anything else lined up.

Dortmund beat Sunderland yesterday in the PL International Cup meaning we drop to 2nd in the group. Tonight's game between Leeds & Anderlecht will be crucial in determining whether we go through. We basically want a draw or a Leeds win by a one-goal margin.

Anderlecht won, meaning we'll have to wait until next month & their game against West Ham to find out if we're through. West Ham sit bottom of the group with 0 points though, so I wouldn't hold out too much hope.

Would be very harsh on them to be eliminated despite 3 wins out of 4 but that's the nature of the competition.

Everton will probably be the only english club in the quarter-final.

Liverpool u16 Vincent Joseph who’s rumored to be leaving them was at OT yesterday for the match

Difficult to tell but Thwaites possibly back in training. 0:26, looks like him playing that pass.

Under 18s actually have a game live on MUTV now. Miracles do happen.
Starting 11 vs Burnley
Heath
McCormack Mills Armer Helafu
McEvoy
Shah JJ
Mantato. Brown
Bradbury

Nkoto on for Mantato in an early change. He took a knock and hopefully it’s precautionary. We’ve started slowly but have had a couple chances.

The angle of the camera is horrible. Can't see what's going on in the far end

Bradbury scores in the 45th minute with a little touch after Brown chips it in from the left. 1-0

Missed the goal so the camera angle made no difference but yeah it’s not great. I’m just glad there’s games on and Bradbury efforts have been rewarded.

And Scanlon (Luca) equalised. I think it was their only effort on target. A header than kind of went through Heath
A boring game, though we missed 2 one on ones and Brown hit the crossbar. You don't score....

Great work from Helafu and JJ on the left, JJ crosses and Bradbury taps in with the last kick of the game. Deserved win

I was just going to type up you get what you deserve and we then go and get the winner! Our 3 best players in Helafu, JJ and Bradbury worked the opening and we score with the last kick of the game. Fought right till the end.

I've only seen 3/4 games of his games thus far and he has impressed me.

Sharp in the tackle, composed on the ball and moves well.

started left-back today (i think he's a natural right-back) but did well there
the other night in the youth cup moved into CM from RB late in the game and didnt look out of place...:+1:

Is Ibrovic fletcher leaving ? Some rumours out there leeds trying to get him along with other clubs.

Also no news on nagwashi at all, i guess he is probably injured .

The U15s are travelling to the US for the inaugural edition of the 'Snow Bowl', taking place from February 9-14.

We have three initial matches against Philadelphia Union, Dortmund & Chicago Fire, before either a semi-final or consolation match.

The tournament is being hosted by hosted by Philadelphia Union & every match will be livestreamed on their YouTube.

one of several talented young attacking mids. There probably wasnt a great pathway for him with Thwaites, Ibragimov and the Nkoto brothers and then the u21 midfielders on top
Yeah agree, he probably didn't see a pathway for him. There's a lot of high potential CM/CAM players in the academy so I don't think it'll be a big miss if even 1-2 players from his age group make it.
