By the way, at the end of the podcast they mention a player from Charlton was on trial at United but they ultimately decided not to sign him.

Pretty sure that would’ve been Lauren Castro, a winger.

What’s the go with United showing the academy games free on YouTube lately but now switched up and you need to be a member to watch?

The Premier League have created a new U18 Player of the Season award. Nominated for United are JJ Gabriel & Albert Mills.

Mills seems like a strange nomination on the face of it, has our defensive record been particularly good? I guess he's been more or less ever present though? What do people think of him and his first team chances?

We have the best defence across both leagues with just 23 goals conceded, although Chelsea have conceded 24 & played two more matches.

I personally would've gone for McCormack instead but Mills is decent, solid defender & really come on in terms of driving forward with the ball.

Oh fair enough, that is a decent record at that level.

Didn't know that JJ was the top scorer across both leagues and the youngest on the list too. Think he'll be the winner.

He's the joint top scorer now but there's a good chance he's overtaken.

Reported today in the Sun article, that his contract was extended to 2028.

Was this confirmed? If so, it will be interesting to see if he is ahead of Fletcher, Thwaites and Collyer in plans for next season.

Our right side of defence is non existent. Every City attack from the left almost ends with a goal

1-1 OBi - Kamason crosses to the back post - Musa does really well and heads it back in front of goal and Obi heads it in

We have been close a few times as well - we have been quite good going forward, we have just been so shocking defensively
Yes, going forward we were not so bad.
Although I don't think Musa has what it takes, he does work hard and his head game is excellent. That was a great header to Obi to assist the goal

You had a feeling those City-missed would come back and bite them someplace :)

Armer needs a lot of praise for that pass that set up Lacey on the right. Brilliant cross

3-1 Lacey (penalty). Armer with a smart ball through to Moorhouse - he races forward and sends a perfect pass to Musa who is upended

Brilliant build up play to get the penalty.

Lacey with such a cool penalty.

Could have been 0-4 but we are leading 3-1. What a tourn around.
Great through pass by Moorhouse to Musa

4-1 Moorhouse - runs past the City-defense and slots it past the keeper. 1 minute played of the 2nd half

This is hilarious. We’ve blitzed past them after our first goal.
