Miscellaneous Reserve/Youth News

U18s will play Leicester in the league this season after they were moved from the south to the north group.

Quite bizarre that we’ve no representation in England u15 squad, someone suggested that our age group is going to Hong Kong during that time, so hopefully that’s the reason because I don’t think you’ll get many better u15 than Dore right now.

It's the first of three training camps. This one clashes with the U16s Hong Kong trip, which I imagine several of our U15s will be on, but there will almost certainly be United representation at the other camps. I imagine we'll have 4-5 who are called up.

As for Dore, he's an U16. Hopefully he'll be in the squad for their matches against Italy later this month.

What's the story with Kukonki?
Good to see Jayden Ngwashi in the list, though hasn't played due to injuries in the last two years or so

Interesting change to note, it looks like teams can now name up to 7 subs in U18 PL matches (and presumably PL2 as well). Previously it was only 5 subs allowed, which was always slightly odd as in order to ever use all 5 permitted subs you'd have to bring a GK on.

assuming Ajayi and JJ aren’t in u18 this time around, I feel we lack attacking talent to really challenge for the league and it’s gonna be a cakewalk for City.

How good is City’s incoming 1st year scholars compared to ours. They lost some really important players to the Under-21s too.
