Right, it seems a fair few of your feckers made the trip to Moscow and sang your hearts out (what a fecking atmosphere, eh?). So perhaps (a) we should have a definitive list of who attended, and (b) make a few awards.

For categories I'd suggest:

1. Most Drunk Forumista (judged by either alcohol consumed or levels of vomitting/collapsing

2. Cheapest Trip

3. Most Bizarre Route

4. Shittest Accomodation


For my own entries -


1. Most Drunk Forumista

Remained upright for the duration unfortunately. Only managed a solitary beer in Moscow beforehand, and a few vodkas. Afterwards managed to plough through 10 beers but was disappointingly sober. :(

2. Cheapest Trip

Mine came in at just under £600, including travel, ticket, accomodation (!), food and drink. It helped that Russians kept buying me drink and I had no-where to stay.

3. Most Bizarre Route

Manchester - Milan - Berlin - Moscow (leaving 8pm Tues, arriving 4pm Weds)
Pretty simple on way back: Moscow - Stuttgart - Manchester

4. Shittest Accomodation

Hotel lobby for an hour's kip, followed by Moscow train station and plane to Stuttgart.
 
** stats are flawed by the fact that you only had one beer before the game! how long were u there for? i did a week trip and it cost me -

flights - 550 euro
accomadation - 20 euro (hostel in riga, moscow was free)
ticket - free (birthday present)

drink & food - errm, 600 euro?

5 solid days on the beer and got bought a lot of drink/food by the locals we stayed with, they insisted on buying us drink! got to bed at 7 am the first 2 nights we spent in moscow and didnt go to bed at all the 3rd, nightclub straight to airport at 5.00am. stayed up, bar sleeping on the plane, for about 30 hours.

2. Cheapest Trip

dont think the trip should include drink. travel only and it cost me 550 euro.

3. Most Bizarre Route

shannon to riga sunday morning, riga to moscow tuesday night, moscow to riga thursday night/friday morning, riga to dublin Friday morning.

4. Shittest Accomodation

my accomadataion was class. 2 nights hostel in riga and stayed with a friend in Moscow.

overall, excellent trip that cost me about 1200euro.

Not much chance here, but tried my best. Started with beers at Dusseldorf, buth then on to red wine on the place as they had no beer. Stuck some Vodka in with a bottle of lilt for the journey into the city, then sank about 4 pints in the pub. So was just getting merry when we had to head off to the match, and the alcohol stopped - next booze was about 9 hours later, back at the airport, where we sat in a bar and sank about 6 pints - was probably the most pissed I got by about 10am when I had to get my flight, having had no sleep for well over a day.

2. Cheapest Trip
£350 for fligths, didn't have a hotel... beat that!

3. Most Bizarre Route
Out via Dusseldorf, back via Hannover ("M.U., M.U.T, MU Travel, feck off!!:D")

4. Shittest Accomodation

I really fancied the train from Riga but couldn't afford the time unfortunately. :-(

Money-wise I got lucky that so many Russians wanted to buy me beer and vodka after the game - fecking mental they are.

Well i dont know how much i drunk but i definitely remember collapsing somewhere round the penalty spot. After that i remember collapsing in the centre circle, down the tunnel, into Avrams arms and in a few other places in Moscow.

2. Cheapest Trip
It only cost my team about 30 million pounds

3. Most Bizarre Route
Well walked from the centre circle, then into the box, fell over, then i walked back out of it again

4. Shittest Accomodation
Avram Grants arms.

drank some, smoked some, queued outside my lounge for ten minutes before realising communism is over, frisked my wife
