"According to a dressing-room source"

I don't think it's a problem if a manager admonishes a player in the dressing room after a bad performance. At least he didn't throw his boot at Pogba.

Such fights are never pretty, but it would be worse if the manager wouldn't pick that fight. The real problem is that it was leaked because someone has an agenda.
Duncan Castles is well known to be a Jose mouthpiece. This was likely approved by Jose, he's looking for the full payout

That doesn't change what I have said.
If he gets paid loads by a football club he should respect the club and its fans by giving his best. Whether he lasts longer or not is someone else’s job, no matter how incompetent that guy is.

Why would someone have an agenda? Because Jose has completely lost the dressing room, due to repeated things like this.

He is right pogba is playing like a disgrace when we should be fighting for results. No excuse for that. Hard to say if this is actualy true though given how much the press have been found out for lying this year

It's ridiculous how can anyone keep defending him when he drops such attitude. Mourinho needs to feck off ASAP, before Jan too, but Pogba is poison and we need to cash on him in summer too. Both need to feck off. None of them must be here next season.

People are recognizing he has a stinking attitude and still defend him. When I remember the stick being given by our fans to a club legend like Rooney when his form dropped and the ridiculous amount of defense given to such clown who has done feck all so far to us when he had games like yesterday, it makes pretty confused on on what standards we are defending or slaughtering players.

Pogba was only bad in the second half.

Mourinho needs to go now he is a major downer on the whole club. He has some nerve talking about respect. He still lives in a hotel and has been slagging everything off and behaving like a misery guts since day one of preseason.

He is in full on third season mode. We should have cut him in the summer.

Pogba seems like he never developed emotionally from a kid. He reacts to frustration by sulking and moping about, but he has every right to be frustrated with the rubbish Jose is serving up every week.

That's not how motivation works. He isn't motivated by the money which he can get at any club. He literally has zero to gain by keeping mourinho in a job.

The primadonna pair. Pogba played like he was hoping someone would take the ball off him and go score. He did create the first goal but you never want to see a player start the game the way he did. That last sentence applies to Jose too and his team selections

It was a terrible game from Pogba, but he has been one of our better outfield performers this season. Matic and Lukaku have been playing just as worse consistently, not a peep about them.

Going.by the supposed words it looks like he's not just concerned about the performance levels but dressing room influence.

If you watch your passes to Lukaku bounce into touch you would be sulking as well.

Please let’s not get into the clown’s mindset. He can go and get it at another club. A total clown of a player, with or without Mourinho.

Because people don't like staying at places where your employer's publically humiliate multiple times? He's got better options than us anyways.
Mourinho is unlikely to last until the end of the season. And Pogba is on a huge contract that he can't break without the club's consent.

When the internal pressure gets really high, Pogba does one of two things. He either try to do way too much and takes boneheaded decisions or he gets so frustrated that he gets stuck in his own head. He is a brilliant sidekick but he needs to have players like Griezmann or Hernandez around him, players that brings the grinta and that are happy to take technical responsibilities. Of course people will claim that because United paid a world record fee and he is paid handsomely, he should transform himself but it's highly unlikely, Pogba is the very talented player that brings a good atmosphere in the locker room, he isn't the player that sets standards and will marshal the team on and off the field.

Problem is if he respects the shirt and plays better it means mourinho lasts for longer. From a player's perspective why would you give 100% if you hate him?
Because you're paid millions of pounds to do your fecking job? If you don't like it, nothing stops you leaving, he's only got 2 years on his contract now as far as I'm aware. I've got more than just a foot in the Mourinho Out camp now but Pogba, despite being our best player by a mile, is a completely unprofessional bellend.

That's a huge statement to make. You don't know that. Why was there no problem with Juventus then? How a Manager like Deschamps has no problem with him? If he wants to leave and we get a great offer then club will make a decision. But i would like to see how a player does under another manager before selling anyone barring Mourinho's pets.

Surely no big club will touch Jose with a barge pole now. They are seeing him at his worst to our teams detriment.

Let's be honest here, Jose deserves to be sacked but Pogba's last performance was an actual disgrace. Don't play for the manager but respect the shirt and fans.

Hopefully the next manager can get the best out of him.
Easier said than done. You can’t expect players to ”play for the shirt” if there are pricks running the club. You think City players play for the shitt? No. They play as it’s a place that has aspirations to win the big prizes on the pitch. What’s our aspiration? To win the next big noodle deal.

Mourihno is obviously totally finished here, and I think just finished in general, and should be sacked.

He's not wrong about Pogba though.

Pogba was disgraceful last night.

Agree. I’m pretty certain a Pep or a Poch would be nearer to the top with the players we have.

They'll try to offer him a new deal but if he says no what are they going to do? Let him go on a free after spunking 90m on a player who's wasted most of his career with us?

Its obvious Mourinho has lost some of the players. I commented as much in the match day thread. Some of the players are just going through the motions.

Jose has fallen out with a number players and there's a clique which has developed at the club. Something has to give and the upper management has a decision to make as early as Monday. Carry on with Mourinho and let this get worse to the point where the virus spreads and causes more misery and financial loss by way of devaluing player values.

He's poison not because of problems outfield, but because of his stinking attitude on the pitch. He just plays when he likes too, and when he's not in the mood to play he becomes a hindrance not just a passenger. He'll keep doing this. It has nothing to do with play style or his teammates. He's moody and inconsistent, and has the attitude of an immature child.

He will keep having great games follwed by stinkers. The only way he will succeed here is if we bring him a full team of world class players to bail him out when he decides he's not in the mood to play.

While Pogba's performance was unacceptable and he himself should be ashamed..

If Jose actually called him a virus, I think that totally crosses the line.

They blocked martial sale when he had a year or so left on his contract, there is no way he is leaving until he has a year or less left.
