Let me get this straight....


People are wondering why the stock value of a company of which the major share holder is the richest man on earth. A man who was put in charge of cutting waste and corruption from the US government spending. Given unlimited & unrivalled access to almost every part of the USA's databases & records of all their accounts & everyone's personal information.... Then inside 12 months since then his own personal wealth has nearly doubled from $430 billion to $835 billion dollars.....

The same man is a known liar, cheater, spreader of misinformation & harmful propaganda & conspiracy theories. A known lying drug abusing, woman abusing, sly, vindictive, racist, narcissistic piece of shit.

And people are shocked Tesla numbers don't add up?

I'm shocked.

Know very little about his businesses and how he got to where he is. Is he some kind of genuis business man or how has this all came about?

I think he's managed to persuade a lot of people that they can also become rich by artificially inflating the value of his businesses. A lot of "don't worry about it all crashing down, we'll be loaded by then anyway".

I wish he would just feck off there. He keeps banging on about colonising Mars and spending billions trying to further technology to enable humans to even get there, but I sincerely doubt that will happen in his lifetime. To add to that, Mars isn't a hospitable planet for humans, so I don't quite get the obsession.

More to the point, the things he promotes have more chance of further destroying the planet we all live on. If he spent his considerable time, money and influence on this planet he could absolutely make it a better place for everyone alive, future generations and everything that lives on it.

The fact he has so much money is truly sickening to me and just signifies how truly lost as a species we are. That is made so much worse by how much of an adverse effect we as humans have on every other life form on this planet.

It just reminds me of one of my favourite quotes.

If a monkey hoarded more bananas than it could eat, while most of the other monkeys starved, scientists would study that monkey to see what the hell was wrong with it.

When humans exhibit this same behavior, we put them on the cover of Forbes magazine.

It's not as complicated as you think I reckon. His Nazi psychopath father was into Wernher Von Braun and Musk thought he could impress evil daddy by sort of vaguely following Von Braun's plan.

Take solace in the thought that no matter how much money he makes he will always know that everyone thinks he's a total bitch.

In fairness, not that I'm defending Elon Musk, Elon has gone on the record multiple times over the past 20 years saying what a cnut his father was, and said that his father was the most evil person he's ever known.

That would be all well and good IF his actions matched his words. Instead Elon's actions and opinions more often than not mirror his father's.

I think Elon's hatred of his father may be more down to how he treated him, his mother and other close family and friends than anything else. Subsequently, Elon might be more like his dad than he will ever want to admit.

What he's actually about to do is steal enormous amounts of real money from investors and then just move on to something else. A hypothetical evaluation is nauseating, the real crime is projectile-vomit inducing.
 
The second richest man is closer to half a Trillion in debt than he is to Musk. :lol:

The valuations Tesla and SpaceX have is insane..

This is the principle his companies are rated on by the stock market, isn't it? Like not if his business will ever turn a profit or if their products are actually good, the only eveluation happening is "Musk stock go up! To the moooon!" And because we living in bizarro world this actually works.
 
What I don't get, is how someone can have enough money to enjoy life pretty much anyway they want to, and are still choosing to spend their days on twitter inciting division.

He's basically doing the exact same thing he'd be doing if he was broke living in his mother's basement, it's absolutely mental.

To be honest, if I had endless money and I was single then I'd find it hard not to just spend all day playing video games, sitting on my phone in bed doing nothing and having sex with good looking women when I wasn't travelling.

It is definitely strange to see it in action though.
 
He has a full on god complex that’s why. The whole “million people on Mars” thing is classic saviour of the world stuff.

There are loads of cnuts like him working in VC and adjacent fields that I’ve met. One guy wants to build a city in Africa and name it after himself. He’s English, had a failed a delivery business in 2016 that made him officially an “entrepreneur”. Now only ever talks about making humanity better. He’s naturally orders of magnitude poorer than Musk, but that is the person Musk is.

Ipso facto, one of the worst cnuts in the world.

Also, he could live out a dream life while being a hero if he got into philanthropy and solved some of the problems he used to claim he cared about such as world hunger or polluted drinking water. And still rake in money as fast as it could be spent, but as you say, he's basically chosen to be miserable and a villain.
 
This sort of wealth would have allowed me to purchase full control from those leprechaun cnut Glazers and enjoy the rest of my life as the liberator of MUFC and watching live matches in-person whenever I want. Would probably also buy a couple US sports clubs as well because why not. Just travel, watch sports and other events often, give to and establish charities and organizations, and combat assholes like the current GOP. Perhaps use that wealth and influence to broker legit peace in various regions without a greed agenda. Could literally make certain despots disappear or find a tragic end to their well being.
