Not a bad shout for the long term, i strongly feel we need to ensure to cash in on Bruno at some point. If it ends up with he runs down the contract it is such a waste.

If there is doubt uncertainty to be able to do this coming years, I would take the 60+M deal often referred to, and then invest in the future in MLS.

How crazy it may sound, I'm not sure it would be such a massive drop off after all. Really weird thing to say as he was the player of the year last year.

I believe the flexibility and balance could be better without Bruno, which will cover some of the drop off in pure quality as it surely would be.

Either Cunha, Zirkzee, Amad, Lacey takes the position decently well. Or we could replace it with another midfielder. As we now will be pretty packed in midfield, even more so if MLS join.

Their CEO did allude to the fact that they would consider offers. I think if MLS feels he has the trust of the manager he will look to stay regardless of what higher ups may think - at least for the time being.

I still say throw the money at him. Hall will certainly be obtainable next year and despite what the majority thinks, Shaw is definitely good enough as first choice for this final year.

This guy gives us the left back cover and midfield cover. Maybe he’s not on board with such a role but he would get plenty of games, especially since the aforementioned Shaw isn’t playing more than once a week unless we want to break him.

None really. The logic to signing him sailed when we signed Santos and it’s disappeared even further once we signed Baleba.

But after a closer look everything start falling apart, at least for Manchester United. Our FBs provide zero width thus we need someone who can go forward and whip a good cross while being able to defend. Lewis Skelly isn't that type of LB. He's an inside FB and we've already got those in bucket loads in Mazraoui and Shaw. He could have done a job as a CM but that ship sailed once we signed Santos and Tielemans. We needed a physical beast to partner those + Mainoo and Lewis Skelly ain't suited for that either at least not as a Baleba would be.

I think he would become a decent no 8 or a 6 in the right system. However we've already got Santos and Tielemans who are painfully lightweight and not ground eaters themselves. MLS is quite mobile and he's not lightweight but he's not Baleba.
