Myles Lewis-Skelly

Think we still have a chance? We can offer him a starting spot guranteed here where in Ars he is playing second fiddle. The guy could potentially be a massive player in that midfield and i would prefer to sign him up over Tonali.
We never had a chance

Modern day Lahm/kimmich. Hopefully they bottle everything and we can turn his head.

Maybe Arteta's master plan was to keep him fresh for the run in.

Very glad to see him play in midfield now. Hopefully it's enough for Arteta to see him as a valuable member of the squad there going forward.

He was due to play an earlier cup game in midfield, but had to revert back to left back after a last minute call off. I do wonder if he got to play midfield that game would we have seen him more at midfield a month or 2 earlier.

He's a more dynamic Mainoo for sure. Pretty certain Arsenal will keep him now sadly.
There's a caveat. He's a homegrown talent, so finance wise he maybe sold. Arsenal need to sell some players this summer to strengthen and homegrown players is the easiest way on paper.

""...Arsenal are not in a position where they have to sell before they can buy, but they approach this summer knowing sales will be necessary over the course of the window, with sustainability a priority.

The club have formulated their transfer plans well in advance and have prepared for multiple scenarios while also recognising the need to establish the market for players they would consider selling.

Ben White, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli are among the senior players to have been linked with moves, while there has also been speculation around academy graduates Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri, whose sales would represent pure profit...."
