I know I am in a minority of NASCAR fans here, but this last turn pass, not breaking on the turn and using the wall to guide you around 5 drivers is absolutely bonkers (red #1 car needed the pass to advance to the championship race next week):

Surprised they let that stand with the obvious safety issues but tremendous balls and creativity. What do you say now in racing games like gran turismo when wall riders get penalised laugh out loud.
Problem with ovals is you can’t do too much to those barriers to slow cars down as it’ll causes huge wrecks with the speeds they go if the barrier grabs the car.

Seems a bit unfair to let Captain Falcon compete in NASCAR to me, but what do I know.
That is basically my standard racing line around those tracks in video games

In the post-race interview, the driver said he was worried that the wall he was riding against also contained a door (turn 4 track exit door) and if it's sticking out at the seam, even a little bit, he could be in a lot of trouble, but he did it anyway. Amazing.

There’s no way that commentator is real and not a South Park caricature.

The commentator that came in with the "it's a video game move" is Dale Earnhardt Jr. He sounds really squeaky but is a fantastic commentator.
NECKCAR is so boring, but this is at least something different.
I tried to get into F1 but qualifying seems to be the only entertaining part. NASCAR has exciting finishes all the time with 19 different winners this season. The unpredictability is fantastic.
