No brainer for us to sign Frimpong this summer. Especially in Amorim's 3-4-3. Too good an opportunity to pass up especially at his rumoured release clause.

Really missing some quality in midfield. Either Kimmich needs to be moved there or Stiller should come on for Gross/Goretzka. Amiri has been average as well but there really isn't anyone on the bench who can play there (Brandt should be in the NT for this reason).
They have a lot of goodwill for beating England in the final though.

After 15 minutes of being humiliated NL took full control over the match. Extremely impressive. The player that decided to tell the team to ignore Koeman and just play ball should be considered the new Cruijff.
To answer your question: Koeman. He's a terrible coach.
Isaksen, Lindstrøm, Biereth, Hjulmand are all relatively fresh faces. What more do you want? Only Eriksen and Schemeichel feel really long in the tooth.

I think he should be selected for the pre-squad. Give him a little taste. I agree he shouldn't be in the definitive squad until he makes a move top a top competition and hopefully he will first go to Ajax/PSV/Feyenoord.
I don't think we'll sign him. He isn't versatile enough. The minute Amorim leaves, Frimpong becomes a waste of space.
And up to this point, I had always just assumed he was Dutch (now i know he was only born there but actually plays for Spain).

I've been very dissappointed with him this season but last season he was together with Hato the only shining light at Ajax. Also his best match was with Oranje against Germany. I haven't given up on him yet.

How is he not versatile? He plays 3-4-3 with Leverkussen in the right wingback position but he plays 4-3-3 with Holland in the right winger position.
At 40 million euro he is a no-brainer to buy and solve the right side for Amorim. I even think he is a better fit than Quenda.

Agree once more. Also he’s played as RB, so he can basically cover the whole right flank. I expect plenty of teams to be all over him if he’s really available for 40M, so won’t be easy to get him

Firstly, he's right footed. Amorim would prefer a left footed player to play as a RWB, so not an ideal fit. In terms of versatility, I don't particularly rate him as a forward, nor do I rate him as a right back in a back four. Therefore, I feel he's not what the club are looking for.
I would take every midfielder in the Spain NT over what United has right now but FDJ just stands above all of them. Good to see he's back to his old form.
