Nations League Quarter-Finals (March 20 2025)

Højlund scores. Deserved goal in all honesty. Great move too.

Well deserved for Denmark.

They should be up by 5 or 6 such has been their domination.

Deserved.
Feck off Martinez, at least Santos had the balls to bench Ronaldo.

I've been very dissappointed with him this season but last season he was together with Hato the only shining light at Ajax. Also his best match was with Oranje against Germany. I haven't given up on him yet.

I hope you’re right because we desperately need a striker but I would be very surprised if he comes even close to the level of Depay.

Deserved lead for us. And Højlund doing Ronaldo's celebration.

It's really the missing piece of the puzzle to make us the dark horse for 2026. Shame it's in the US.

I will forever maintain there is a good striker in Hojlund if we can develop him and the team correct.

We'd be stupid to sell him. At most loan him but even that I wouldn't do as well will need a backup striker for next season and that should be his role

Siu infront of the guy that assisted him and pointing at himself after a tap-in nearly missed, this guy has 0 self-awareness, imaging Hojlund actually scoring goals.

You can give the red, but the flopping by that Spain player is a fecking emberrasment. Miraculous recovery too ofcourse.

He’ll get the odd goal but he’s nowhere near at the level we need from a ST. We need a 20-25 goal ST to help us close the gap

He may still develop other strikers have past the age he is now. Backup striker next year is what he should be

I swear sometimes the ambitions are a bit crazy on some fans..

within less than a second a spanish player is waving an imaginary red card at the ref at well. Same behaviour as we saw with Sociedad and most Spanish clubs.

We had a great game. 2 unfortunate Hato moments fecked us.

Other than that he also played well.

Portugal were shocking, we shouldve won 3+ if Eriksen wasnt trying his best not to score. Portugal one of the worst sides ive seen live at Parken

That was a leg breaker on Evan Ferguson and the ref standing next to it and gives him a yellow.

Crap game for Arnar Gunnlaugsson's first game in charge. Defense is shocking but bringing back that piece of shit back in defense is a bad move on his part and not making it any better.

It was never a red. If it was red Huijsen deserved one as well and so did the Spanish cnut that stepped on Verbruggen's foot.

Supa win! A draw would've been a more fair result since Italy had chances themselves but Baumann put in a super performance. Kimmich was an utter boss today but I'm so happy for Baumann. Been such a solid keeper for a decade and a half now and deserves to be ahead of Trapp and Nubel.

Still need to be better in midfield, Gross - Goretzka lacks technical ability and in the end we needed some super crosses from Kimmich to get our best chances. Stiller is young and inexperienced but would prefer him there if Kimmich stays on the right.

Tonali put on a clinic as well, scored a goal and created some great chances for Italy as well.

Rasmus Højlund post match interview .

Højlund: "Its a great day for us and for me. I'm playing against the worlds best player tonight... He is my idol"
Interviewer: You did a celebration that reminded us of something
Højlund: "Yeah that was a tribute.. what can I say look he is my idol.. I saw him play as a kid in 2009 against Denmark, yeah thats my idol, worlds best player"

The Huysen tackle is more a red. But we lack the 'pashun' to flop around like a dying rodent after being tackled.

Think you can give the Hato red though. Studs up on the ankle with his leg extended. It was unfortunate due to him being pushed into it by Oyarseyeball

I think there sometimes has to be some mitigation taken into consideration like they do in rugby. He's only stretching out because he's been fouled first of all, so for me it's probably not a red.

The reaction of the Spanish player was ridiculous, I thought his leg was broke in 3 places, but nope, he was just waiting for the ref to get the magic card out to make him feel better.

Since when did a 20-25 goal striker mean just Haaland. When you’ve got on the list solanke, Watkins, Isak who are all capable of getting 20 + goals.
