Nations League Quarter-Finals (March 20 2025)

Greece look a good team
The new manager is working wonders and there's a lot of promising young players. I think 3 of the midfielders today were under 20.

Not getting carried away though. We're still very mediocre in the grand scheme of things. No offence to Scotland but I don't think they're a particularly good team.

We have a highly underrated coach, Jovanovic, who plays modern, progressive football. A couple of months ago, we beat England while delivering the best football we’ve played in the past 20 years. It’s not just about the result—it’s about what he’s building and the way we played.

To achieve this, he made a bold decision that was previously a taboo here: trusting very young players and moving on from experienced but mediocre ones. Today, for the first time, we had only one player aged 27, one aged 29, and one aged 26. The rest were 23 or younger, including a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old. Keep an eye on Karetsas—bigger clubs will surely be interested.

It’s finally exciting to watch the team again, with a bright future ahead.

I thought you looked good against England too and you play very nice football to watch.

Looks a bright future ahead for Greece. Scotland were dreadful tonight but you were still very good.

League A looks stacked. Even the "weak" teams look very good.

Aha yea I never thought I'd find Greece more entertaining to watch than Utd.

But I can still see us being smacked in League A. We have such a shit ranking so I'd almost have preferred us to stay in B so we can improve it ahead of the next Euro draw. Last time we basically had no chance of qualifying being in the same group as France and Holland.

You absolutely dominated us tonight, fair play. I mean, we’ve been shite for the past 18 months or so, but still.

Which games best to watch tonight? Germany-Italy. Spain-Netherlands or Portugal-Denmark? Amazon charging like 3 pound to watch them

Turpin must be the worst or most corrupt ref out there.
