NBA 2025-2026

Woke up just in time to see this madness

Steph and Draymond stealing the Clippers' lunch and soul

Steph's got a bunch of misfits, old men and walking wounded with him and they still manage to pull out a win.

L O L at the Clippers.

Would love a vintage Curry series against OKC. And would rather have the Hornets than the Magic to face the Pistons.

Steph is unbelievable. 38 years old and still when it matters, there aren't many players you would take before him.

Porzingis somehow realized that he is 8 foot tall or something, maybe inspired by Wembanyama. Hope Warriors get into playoffs albeit will likely be sweeped by OKC.

Hornets v Pistons would be hell of a series. Orlando are super underwhelming.

Orlando are hopeless, they should just have packed after losing against the alMighty "Real Luka" Garza four days ago.

Yeah and meanwhile Hornets are fun as hell. They could give Pistons a series too, could see this going 6 or even 7. Magic would lose in 5 max.

I know Miami fans are hoping we re (Pistons) gonna curb stomp the Hornets, and especially put Lamelo in his place for what he did to Bam. For similar reasons though I don't want to face them - not because I think we d lose the series - but because of the likelihood one or more of our players won't survive it without injuries. It's a bunch of thugs.

Would also much prefer Pistons - Hornets series. Magic team is pretty meh.. Although don't think either is capable of eliminating Pistons

The NBA and NBPA have ruled in favor of Lakers' Luka Doncic and Pistons' Cade Cunningham on their Extraordinary Circumstances Challenge for the 65-game award rule, making both eligible for all 2025-26 season honors such as MVP and All-NBA teams, sources tell ESPN.

Good.

Btw Luka was in Beograd last night with Djokovic watching Zvezda - Real game. I don't think he is coming back soon.

Feels like the end of an era for GS, but I hope they let Green and Curry retire as Warriors.

I think that era ended a couple of years ago. The Wiseman and Kuminga picks (and even the Moody pick to an extent) killed any real hopes of continuing that run.

Neither Green nor Curry has ever been swept in the playoffs. I think if they'd won tonight that record would have gone against the Thunder.

I mean that in the sense that I can't see them making even a hot run to a final after this. There seemed to be an outside chance the last two years. Certainly their golden age ended, as you say, a few years ago.

Provived the first round goes smooth without injuries and upsets, both the West and the East seem really tasty this year!

Timberwolves have forgotten how to score.

Wemby ain't a bad player. There is feck all you can do against him.

Very hard to see past OKC though. I felt that they were in second gear for the entire game and still won by 30-something.

Pistons going 0-1 down. The Hornets series would be more fun, but looking at both teams Magic is defensively much better equipped to play with the Pistons. I still think they will come short but win another game and it becomes interesting.

Doc Rivers has officially retired. To be honest, I thought he retired about 5 years ago, but teams kept paying him.

Next day and I still feel sick after that performance. I don't mind the L if we played well, but we looked horrible. Even Case scoring 39 pts hides the fact even he had a poor game in terms of decision making (IMHO). I like to think we'll be OK because that was easily the worst I've seen us this season, but I don't underestimate the Magic. I think Cleveland did smart business by bringing in an experienced Harden, that we did not. We re still very young in a way so if not this season - I expect we ll be more battle ready with a smart transfer or two.

But hey - its only Game 1 and I saw no reason yesterday to think this team cant do a hell of a lot better. It should be easy to beat the lack of intent yesterday.

Duren was basically useless in this game, which was surprising to see. He was benched towards the end, wasn't he?

Denver - Minnesota is the tie to watch. That will go in 7 games.

I think the Nuggets will be too strong for them. Don't think it will go to 7. I'm thinking it'll be over in 5.

Yep, nothing dropped. Or anything in the paint for us really. Orlando also did a good job neutralizing our main strength in that sense, because especially without Huerter available, we are extremely streaky from beyond the paint. Still - Bickerstaff should have set us up better. He does not seem to understand the playoffs are when other teams step it up a notch.

I think this is as far as you go with Bickerstaff. Great coach to get you from the doldrums to having a very good/excellent regular season. Beyond that can't recall a season where he's had to navigate tough playoff matches as a head coach. May be worth re-evaluating at the end of your season

I will also say that Orlando's seed underrates them a bit relative to pre season expectations. People were complimenting the Bane trade as a final piece. Banchero has been a bit disappointing in the regular season but based on their potential this was always a possibility

It definitely is in part due to lack of expirience and I would like to believe the Pistons can only play better both in this series and in the next ones if they go through but they now have to win game 2. I like this Pistons team and low-key cheer for them because of Cade and that 'bad boys' vibe they still have about them. Hopefully we see a much improved performance.

Tatum closing in on top 25 play off points scorer of all time.

Constantly pummelling Philly who passed on him too. Must be devastating.

First round needs to go back to best of 5. The gap between the two teams is just too big in 75% of the series, so A. it would be over sooner and B. it gets more interesting if someone like Orlando pulls off a Game 1 upset.

Loss in revenue due to potential G6/G7s may be a stumbling block for the league

I do like the idea. Helps with player fatigue ideally, provides more breathing room in the regular season
