How long after these fixtures are released later will I be able to buy Celtics tickets?

If you are already a season ticket holder, probably around mid August. If not, then more likely around end of August.

I had a random shower thought. Do you guys think players get inducted into the NBA Hall Of Fame too easily? Or is it better that more players get their flowers, unlike the NFL where many players who were elite get snubbed?
Yes. In NBA, it should be the Hall of Very Good.
I think the NFL has the best hall of fame currently. There are a few snubs and that TO had to wait was an absolute joke but by and large they get it right. The NBA one is just way too accommodating, especially with the scoring boost we've had the last decade or so. You're going to end up with Trae young, Lamelo Ball and plenty other guys of the same ilk as hall of famers.
Who do you have as controversial inductions?
Most are before my time and even more before I started watching in 2013-14, so maybe take my opinion with a grain of salt. But Bill Bradley for instance (obviously based on stats) or some of the older Celtics bench players that got in, couple of ex-Yugo players like Divac and Petrovic, but I get that the rules to get into the NBA HoF are different, and that its not really the "NBA" HoF but "basketball" HoF.
The thought arose because of Stoudemire's induction. He was a great player, although a short peak and arguably not the best player on his teams (Nash, Melo). I'm not saying he shouldn't be in, especially if you look at the rest of the HoF. Based on that it is deserved, but I also feel like a lot of guys with a career like him probably wouldn't even make it into the NFL HoF.
I feel like the Hall of Fame should be an absolutely elite list where it is very tough to get into, so you can really differentiate the very good players from the absolute best.
Yeah, Steve Smith Sr., Hines Ward, Eli not making it shows how tough it is. And many more.
Trae or LaMelo making it based on current career trajectories would be so unserious

No one is putting LeBron James and A'mare Stoudamire on the same level just because they both get into Springfield (LeBron as a first ballot obviously)
I think the rarified nature of the NFL HoF makes the jacket more of an honor there. But when a coach like Bill Belichick does not get in the first time, then you have to acknowledge they're on some bullshit in Canton. I also would hate for the NBA HoF to be controlled by a panel of old self-important farts (like what they have in Baseball).
Amare in the HOF before Horry is ridiculous
As a lifelong Laker fan I love me some Robert Horry, but in no way does he deserve to be in the HOF. He was never and AS, certainly never made an All NBA Team, and was barely a started once he left Houston.
Now, I'm on the fence on Amar'e getting in, but he was a 5 time All NBA player and finished top 10 in MVP voting 4 times. Without the injuries at what should have been his peak he is probably a lock.
He has 7 rings with 3 different teams, and was consistently a beast in the playoffs and finals. So, so clutch, and almost the definition of a big game player.
He 100% should be in before Amare, who actually ended up having quite a disappointing career after all.
By that logic both Derek Fisher and Ron Harper should also be in the HOF, right? They both have 5 rings and were teammates with Horry on 5 and 2, respectively, of those rings.
Even the argument that he was a "beast" in the playoffs is not really true. Check out the table below. His stats barely moved. What sticks in your mind, and mine, is the big shots, but I think there were only maybe 5 of them that I can remember:

As for Amare, I did a quick check and there are 71 players in NBA history who have made at least 5 All NBA Teams with at least 1 First Team. Every single one of them (who have retired) are in the HOF.
I'm not trying to diss on Big Shot, but he is no more a HOF player than Jim Loscutoff (I had to look him up) who had 7 rings with the Celtics with very similar stats to Horry.
Yeah, perhaps nostalgia is getting the best of me on this one. His big shots with his 7 rings are great, but its a good argument that he wasn’t really even a starter for most of those.

I mean, me too! I rewatch the Kobe/Shaq lob (well, that whole 4th qtr to be honest) at least once a year, and I can still replay where I was when Horry hit that 3 against the Kings (the Spurs one too). Hell, that DFish three in 0.4s is up there with some of my favorite sports moments.
I agree on the Amar'e thing, I don't think his career is top tier level HOF, but for me there is enough of a career to imagine what he could have been with a prolonged peak.
I’m prolly hopelessly nostalgic about the 3-peat Lakers, but they were better with Horry in there, cuz he shot the 3 better than A.C. Green, Horace Grant or Samaki Walker, allowing them to space better.
Obviously no one thinks Samaki Friggin’ Walker is better than Horry, but he started more games in 01-02. Phil Jackson may have seen the utility of having some fire power coming off the bench.
And Horry averaged 3 shots from 3 in the playoffs in his career, and 2.1 during the regular season. Wild.
He would have thrived in the modern NBA.
The NBA isn't strict enough about allowing players into the HOF imo, but there are very few ex-players (recent ones) who you can argue against in the last 10 years:

And Mo Cheeks perhaps as well but he was a defensive beast, multiple All-Star and has a ring and longevity as well.

In retrospect 10 first round picks plus SGA for Kawhi + George is undoubtedly the worst trade of all time in any sport

Thank you. For some reason I have always been a bit upset that people don't put the Clippers with the Wolves. Two historic disaster of franchises but "LA" is saving the Clippers.

To be fair, there has been a lot of great investigative journalism in regards to City. It’s how the whole investigation started in the first place. The FA is just doing whatever they can, to avoid an actual punishment.

The City case has nothing to do with the FA. It is the Premier League who are supposed to be handing out any punishments.
