I'm usually a big fan of NBA 2k games but I couldn’t get in to this years game for whatever and traded it in some time back but this morning I was offered NBA Live on the Xbox for free via the EA Access store and after playing for a couple of hours I’m totally hooked. The story mode “The One” so far has been very good and the layout is very easy to get your head around, something I sometimes struggled to do on the 2K version this year.
One thing that has annoyed me though is just how much customisation is available to you on this game. From hairstyles to tattoos.. this game gives you so much freedom to create your player which is good fun.. the annoying thing is that this is an EA title and yet on FIFA (EA’s biggest earner?) the customisation is very limited and has been the same for a good few years now. The fifa lads need to up their game!
