I think part of the draw with him is that his ceiling is unknown. We have seen what Pochettino can do in England and he is rated/not rated accordingly. The same goes for various other managers. We know their level and can predict with a bit of confidence how they might fare. Ten Hag represents something that is untarnished in many ways. An element of fantasy. At least until he has an opportunity in England or at a higher level than Ajax anyway.I”m really surprised that a Manager who has never managed in any of the top leagues in Europe is the favourite to take over!Okay,his Ajax team reached a CL semifinal….But honestly what’s the big deal?Pochettino took Tottenham to a CL final(surely a greater achievement than reaching a semifinal).
