NFL 2026 | HoF Game on Thursday August 6th 8:00 PM ET

I do really like the Niners one but I’m not and will never pay that price

Slightly off topic and not really the thread but not setting up a new one for this tenuous link; did you see the Grimsby town AC Milan 90s throwback, it’s utterly class

I may have found a seller on DHGate...

Oh yeah, I wouldn't be interested in buying these either at these prices.

As usual, a shout out to all our resident members who make each NFL season even more memorable

This list is from last year's thread. If there are any additions or changes to be made, please let me know
I'm switching to eagles. Going to passyunk in London and watching the eagles is what's got me interested so we're gonna run with it. And I like their jersey. Hope the eagles do well though.

Quite a move from the second worst fanbase to the worst

Eagles will do well, they have one of the best GMs as much as it pains me to say it

Kyle Shanahan news sounds pretty serious, also weird that an NFL head coach gets into such an accident and it doesn't even surface until 10 days after the incident.

Hope he has a full and speedy recovery.

And - obviously of secondary importance here - not an ideal start to the (pre)season for the Niners.

The drip feeding is definitely a bit weird. They initially just said a concussion but it’s a lot more severe than that.

Well, Mitch Mcconnell has been dead for a while and no one cares.

Shanahan turned up for Niners practice so hopefully is recovering well

Wonder who goes for him now?

Maybe the 49ers should just let him rot in the reserves

Just noticed that this thread has been very quiet this off season.

We are almost into preseason now. Regular footy just a month away

Starting to get into it a bit more again, the last six months have by far been the least I've kept in touch with league news in the last 10 years, but the training camp videos are nice to easy back into it. And it makes for some surprising moments, yesterday I noticed Tank Bigsby is suddenly on the Eagles  And somehow I completely missed that the Saints have signed Etienne as well, are the Jags planning on giving Tuten a few hundred touches or what?

Hard Knocks is back tomorrow as well and we have our first game on Thursday, even though it's just the HOF game it's nice to have some football back. Just noticed that the season is starting a bit later in September as well this year compared to previous seasons if I'm not mistaken, but at least it's nearly there again. Can't wait for autumn Sunday evenings and Redzone to be back.

Also starting to mock draft again.

Why is the NFL season starting on a Wednesday? That’s weird?

The first TNF game is an international game in Australia for some reason.

Obviously couldn't have the defending champs open in another continent. So, Wednesday night kick off and Super Bowl LX rematch in Seattle.

As a catch-up:
-the Rams are building a superteam with weapons of mass destruction
-one of the leading reporters got caught in an affair with a head coach. She got fired, he had to skip the most boring part of the draft for an afternoon of counseling
-the San Fran substation is still a thing
-ESPN's former lead 'scout' had his arm torn off in a auto accident. He started a fundraiser initially at $10k then 50k. It then bubbles to the surface he was accused of scamming paid fantasy leagues which he was running dozens of. He was also at fault for the incident.

That last bullet wtf

I've been handed a lot of NFL projects for the upcoming season where I work so I might finally try get into this sport this year.

Who's a good team to follow? I have ties to New York so thinking about one of Giants/Bills/Jets.

Currently leaning towards Jets, I just wish their jersey wasn't green.

Also is there a good podcast that rounds up the week's action? Something like Guardian Football Weekly. A few people have recommended Heed The Call...

Watch red zone for a few weeks and just get into. Dont jump into a team. But if it has to be one of those 3, jets would be last!

New York area? I’d say Baltimore.
