Anywhere from round 1-3 guy depending on who you talk to. I’m thinking if he had gotten a 1st round grade he’d have entered instead of transferred.
But a scandal of this magnitude would have made NFL teams wary of him since gambling on your own team is like #1 of the pro sports deadly sins, and apparently it wasn’t a well-kept secret.
It would be a dangerous decision because the fist game he has an absolute stinker, throws a few picks maybe one returned for six, loses a fumble, yadda yadda, it would open up the media to speculation and ridicule. And it will never end from there. Every game, every result, every snap scrutinized.
Not a fan of killing a kid, but precedence needed.
Yeah by all means beat women or rape them or any other manner of felony but do NOT place a bet on your own team to win.

Yep, it’s disgusting really, that a lot of sports draw this as the line.
They didn't kill him and there is no precedence being made. Supplemental drafts aren't automatic, the last one was in 2023 and the last pick in 2019.
For some reason some people think that it is a must and that he was treated differently, he is eligible for the 2027 draft.
Not playing this year in any capacity is killing him and of course it's setting precedence, let's not be naive.
The point is that the NFL doesn't have to make an exception for him, they decline most of the time. And the reason he won't play this year is his own doing, his actions made him ineligible to play college Football. The precedence that is "set" is from the NCAA, the NFL is doing what they have mostly done which is to not have a supplemental draft.

Awful news. It's an utterly grim disease. Rugby League player, Rob Burrow, was diagnosed with it at the very end of 2019, and by June 2024 he was gone. He was a similar age at the point of diagnosis too, only 37.
Just got my DAZN renewal mail, €209 for the Season Pass, gonna have to look into that because that's excessive, think I was always on €50 or thereabouts since the switch from NFL GamePass.
I just use NowTV/Sky for the first handful of weeks and by then the price for Game Pass is dramatically less and I make the switch.
If there's one good thing to come from all of this, it's that it shows us who the clueless click-farming dickheads are. And oh boy are there plenty of them in the NFL space apparently.

It gets a World Cup QF and the match for 3th place, and it's also in the mix as a Super Bowl venue, for a winter sport like the NFL. It was boiling hot with high humidity there for the England game. Meanwhile SoFi doesn't even get a look in for the semis and the (loser's) final while it's the far superior stadium? Not to mention the likes of NRG or US Bank which weren't even venues at all.
I just don't seem to get the Miami love. Is it just because it's the biggest metropolis in one of the most populated states?

East coast makes a big difference with 3 of the 4 teams from Europe

Will be looking forward again to the NFL (and PL) season once the World Cup comes to a close. Only 7.5 weeks left after that, the season will be there before we know it. Although I've been more "out of it" this season than ever before, I haven't even started mock drafting yet and it's almost mid-July
These heatwaves really make me miss the NFL. Roll on cold Sundays in front of the fire with Super Sunday followed by a couple of NFL games.

Most have their first year as a club/franchise, odd some do not. Then there's Arizona with 98 which is wrong. The franchise moved to Phoenix in 88 (renamed Arizona in 94) but had been in St Louis from 60-87 and originated in the AFPA/NFL in Racine in 20 before changing to Chicago in 22, the same year the AFPA changed to NFL. They had other naming conventions before the NFL and played in the Chicago area.
