Should be fairly easy considering both teams will likely suck and the secondary market is strong here. Schedules were released on the 14th, Jets at home is on Oct 25 and Miami at home is on Nov 29. Almost guaranteed to be a 1pm local start time since they're both east coast teams and doubt it'll be flexed.

NBA schedules are released in mid-Aug. But the NBA has an 82 game schedule and teams usually play 3-4 times a week so chances are pretty good.

Last season the NBA opening night was October 21. So the season should have started for both of those games - definitely the Miami one but very likely the Jets home game too given how late that is in October. Obviously jets game is closer to Boston! As others have said the odds of a home game are likely, I’d think particularly that early in the season, though I’ll note that there are periods where teams will have runs of games at home, and away, so it’s not a guarantee. For example looking at their schedule this past winter the Celtics didn’t play at home between December 22 and January 5. But I don’t recall a team starting a season like that!
Rams giving Stafford an extension after using a decent first on an inexperienced QB who barely played college and now will sit two years. Seems an odd use of resources, and questions why on earth they drafted the QB when there were good offensive prospects to help with an assumed win now position?

Ageeed, and if they didn’t think they needed an offensive player this year they could surely have tried to pick up a 2027 pick in trade for that first, when the QB options are seemingly better. Suppose we’ll have to see how it plays out but definitely a headscratching talking point

AmEx presale for the London games this morning was a disaster. Allegedly AmEx had no idea it was happening, and had no agreement with the NFL to do this. The NFL had to pause the queue for a couple of hours and get their affairs in order with AmEx. The first 12000 people in the queue got all the way to the checkout and couldn't pay, and then got booted to the back of the line. Shit show.

Refuse to buy tickets to the games at Spurs this year. The prices are simply unacceptable to me (as a matter of principle). I’ve had tickets to every single London game for 11 odd years, missed one or two that I couldn’t attend for whatever reason. This is the first time though that I simply won’t even buy the tickets. Too many things have annoyed me over the last few years and the outrageous pricing is enough to tip it off for me. I’ll continue to go to the Wembley jags game.

The reasoning I've seen is they feel they have their QB of the future so if Stafford moves on next season then they don't need those picks for a QB.
