Nigel Farage - Reform leader

The least surprising thing you will see or hear this week.

It's quite amusing to see Social Media the past few weeks especially as Nigel and Reform are getting an absolute smashing. The turn against them had been steadily growing, especially with the subtle yet noticeable rise of Restore.

What helped accelerate Restore's rise (and Reforms nosedive) was the quick succession of Tories migrating from the Conservatives to Reform.

Although Restore are little different in many ways and Rupert Lowe is equally as odious as Farage, it's clear to see there's some serious money behind Restore both pushing their leader and party whilst simultaneously thrashing Farage and his.

Stephen Yaxley-Lennon AKA Ewok Powell AKA Tommy Ten Names is probably one of Restore's biggest champions which in itself should be enough to see what they are all about.

Keir Starmer has started to very slightly turn things around and is getting a lot of credit for his stance on the war in Iran and how he has stood up to Trump. Sadly though, it seems he still likes to shoot himself in the foot and it's unlikely he can do enough to win back much of the support he lost.

The real winners in this is the Green Party who have placed themselves as the only true challengers to the 3 right wing parties. We just have to hope that Reform and Restore cancel each other out because the thought of either of those two in charge scares the living shit out of me.

I used to browse the UK politics sub reddit a few years ago. Ventured back in there a few days ago and it's full of people advocating a Reform/Restore coalition. Right-wing bots and troll farms are working overtime to get Restore into the conversation despite 99% of the population having never heard of them. The Greens are a radical Islamic extremist party too now apparently after they've beat Reform to a seat .

Yeah, the comments about them are flooding Youtube as well. Makes you wonder how much Musk is spending on it all.

If the wokies want an animal that represents Britain they could go with something like this.

But, no, a fecking badger!
To be fair a badger would feck up the Churchill dog.

I don’t disagree. But there’s a difference between these cameo videos and him actually these things purposefully.
He's emboldening people who hold these views and beliefs, and showing them that there is acceptance of them.

Which is straight fromTrump's playbook.

He’s reading out cameo videos for a fee. It’s not more complicated than that. He shouldn’t be doing it, but there’s a big difference between that and what you’ve said.

You'd think if you're a politician reading out things for money you'd look into the stuff you're saying.

Given the standards you hold other politicians to, this is a surprising free-pass being given.

He’s silly for doing it, but it’s akin to asking supermarket customer service to put a call out for Drew Peacock or Hugh Janus.
Isla Vaynal.

All he needs to do is hire some kid to google the scripts, but he's too money-grabbing to even do that. Feck knows how he's so bullet-proof in many quarters.

I really don’t see why endorsing neo nazi events is more acceptable if you’re doing it for money
I mean its perhaps marginally better than doing it simply for the love of the game, but it still makes you a Nazi-supporting piece of pondscum, albeit one with a price.

Depends if you know you're doing it or not. I suspect he's just reading out whatever people send him. It's the equivalent of a youtuber reading out a bait name on a superchat.

IMO it makes you both a Nazi and a money-grubbing politician for sale. The one doesn’t preclude or lessen the other.

There’s no way he’s doing it for the money is there? He can make money in a whole host of ways with information and contacts most don’t have, so he’s surely not releasing pathetic little cameos for a little extra money.

He especially wouldn’t choose to do the worst of them if there wasn’t a politically driven motive behind it, because why the feck would you? It’s blatantly a way of appealing to these cnuts with a shite gaslighty excuse ready and waiting. Which is extremely maga.

He's made more than £374k from doing this vids so he must churn them out by the dozen.
He's a bone idle grifter. I can fully believe he picks one up, reads it out and then moves onto the next without giving the content any thought. The idea there is any planning and subtle attempts to far right online types seems more fanciful.

Others do feel there is more to it though and it would fit the Trump playbook he so loves.

We could test this by sending in some requests that strongly oppose his political values. I bet he wouldn’t do it.

Should have asked him to do a few 'Eid Mubarak's to test the waters.

Me and a few mates do a score predictor league every year. Someone has suggested we get Farage to announce the winner this season, but I’m not sure I could stomach paying him.

Probably go Le Tiss instead.

I’d be all for getting scientific with this if it weren’t for the giving him money part

So this tosser rocked up at Portman Road on a private booking and used it as a PR stunt on his tour of Suffolk (after getting chased out of Felixstowe the day before).

Whatever happened to keeping politics out of football

I’m so fecking angry this. And the club made it much worse IMHO by putting out a statement saying they “welcome politicians from all points of the political spectrum.” It’s demonstrably untrue, and the club’s social media feeds are full of people asking for examples of these other politicians who have visited. They won’t be able to find any, and it just makes senior management seem disingenuous.

The small silver lining is quite how many people are angry at this. It implies to me that Farage is not as popular as some may think..
