Free with online expansion, which is nice.48 new courses coming to MK8 was hoping it was a new game.
Fuming. No mention of BOTW2 then, or did I miss something? Can't believe they ended it with some anime shit
Nope. Probably saving it for E3.Fuming. No mention of BOTW2 then, or did I miss something?
Xenoblade Chronicles is a fantastic series. Can't believe they ended it with some anime shit
is it 25 euros for all 48 tracks or 25 euros for each wave of 8 courses?48 new courses coming to MK8 was hoping it was a new game.
25 for everything.is it 25 euros for all 48 tracks or 25 euros for each wave of 8 courses?
Seems like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will be their GTA 5 for the Switch.
They won't make a new one on this console.
mario kart is the perfect game as it is. you don’t need to reinvent the wheel. i agree they’re just better off waiting for new hardware to run nearly the same game on, with improved graphics and more interactive courses. the core element of racing and items shouldn’t be touched at all. it’s perfect.25 for everything.
I think DLC makes sense tbh. It’s going to a lot to improve on MK8. Surely by releasing another 48 tracks it basically makes it the ultimate game. There’s no need to release another MK till the next consols now I think.
What stopped you before?!The best game ever thread prompted me to give Breath of the Wild a 4th try. Think it finally sort of hooked me.
Dunno, it's too open world and too Nintendoish. Two things that I just don't really care for. What stopped you before?!
Yeah it’s awful. I mean I got into it eventually but overall it’s just a shockingly terrible game that it’s not worth it.Anybody played Xenoblade Chronicles 2? It's 33% off and I dreamt about it last night
Yeah it’s great. The battle system starts a bit slow but once all the options unlock its great and the story keeps picking up pace. One of the best games for the switch.Anybody played Xenoblade Chronicles 2? It's 33% off and I dreamt about it last night
It's great though the ridiculous over the top fan service boobs are very off putting to me. Fantastic battle system and overall gameplay though.Anybody played Xenoblade Chronicles 2? It's 33% off and I dreamt about it last night
BoTW is probably the least Nintendo-ey game they've ever made.Dunno, it's too open world and too Nintendoish. Two things that I just don't really care for.
I loved it. Much better than the 1st one imo.Anybody played Xenoblade Chronicles 2? It's 33% off and I dreamt about it last night
I jist bought it. Looks like it's right up my alley. Will let you know how it is in a bit.Anyone played Triangle Strategy?
Tempted to grab it, but worried I won't play it for a while because of Elden Ring.
CheersI jist bought it. Looks like it's right up my alley. Will let you jnow how it is in a bit.
I love it so far. It's like modern final fantasy tactics. The voice acting isnt fantastic though and it's a huge amount of dialogue in between gameplay. Almost like an interactive novel more than a game. I dont mind that though.Cheers
Sounds right up my street. I'll get it ordered. Just don't know whether it's worth waiting until I'm done with Elden Ring though.I love it so far. It's like modern final fantasy tactics. Zelda games are synonymous with puzzles. It's like someone who doesn't like shooters playing Call of Duty.Breath of the Wild is losing my interest again. I'm at one of the sivine beasts just trying to figuren out what to do and where and I just realized. I really hate puzzles. That's why I don't like it.
Meh, it's not just puzzles though, it's also a big open world game, another genre I dislike.Zelda games are synonymous with puzzles. It's like someone who doesn't like shooters playing Call of Duty.
It's not a game you want to be caught playing, that's for sure.Anybody played Xenoblade Chronicles 2? It's 33% off and I dreamt about it last night
Sure sounds like JapanIt's not a game you want to be caught playing, that's for sure.
The amount of boobs thrown at you is extremely weird to say the least. The game is fun other than that.
Feel free to post your impressions in here when you had the time to play it. It's a game I've also been looking at, but haven't bought yet.I actually bought Astral Chain in the end, which I still haven't played
I usually love games by Platinum but Astral Chain just didn't click with me. I found the controls clunky and awkward.Feel free to post your impressions in here when you had the time to play it. It's a game I've also been looking at, but haven't bought yet.
I hated it. Pile of shite.I usually love games by Platinum but Astral Chain just didn't click with me. I found the controls clunky and awkward.
Decided against it and just ordered Skyrim for the Switch. Never really played an Elder Scrolls game except for Oblivion on the Xbox 360 which I hated. My taste in games has drastically changed in the last 5 years though and this seems like a game that I would probably like now.I hated it. Pile of shite.
This was an understatement. I played for about 90 mins last night and only did the tutorial battle against the bandits.I love it so far. It's like modern final fantasy tactics. Oh awesome, thanks for the tag. Definitely think I would. This was an understatement. I played for about 90 mins last night and only did the tutorial battle against the bandits.
It's bloody gorgeous though, and the story is intriguing enough to pull me through. Reviews said after the initial story dump in the first few hours the game really improves and the battles become more frequent.
@Massive Spanner I feel like you'd love this.
I'm in the same boat. I stopped Horizon for Elden Ring and now I've grabbed this. I think this will be a palate cleanser for when Elden Ring keeps kicking my arse.Oh awesome, thanks for the tag. Definitely think I would.
still need to finish SMTV though which has been massively sidelined by Elden Ring and to a lesser extent Horizon!
Yeah it took a lot of time between the first 2 battles. Story is very intriguing so far though and the visual and battle mechanics are great. This was an understatement. I played for about 90 mins last night and only did the tutorial battle against the bandits.

I don't know, it depends if you mostly want to bash fast lot of goblins and others or if you want to see Zelda and the champions. It is mostly an easy game even if playing one of the divine beasts can be frustrating. I don't think the characters are that different from the memories. So I liked seeing the rito champion belittle Link.Finished BOTW today. After giving up on it a few years ago within about 10 minutes I stuck with it this time and sunk 90+ hours into it. Absolutely cracking game. I went back to Mario Odyssey afterwards which I loved and it now seems a bit shit in comparison.
Is Hyrule Warriors worth getting to fill the gap between now and BOTW 2?
