Haha not saying They are better bands persay. I just don't get the yearning to stick on Nevermind like i would for appetite of Destruction or Hybrid Theory.
I was a big fan and therefore never liked Pearl Jam. Now I love them both.

As an aside, Pearl Jam might just be the worst band name ever.
3 songs from them I've loved since being 12 or 13, the first 2 are covers.
Kurt was a great guy but he was a bit of an elitist punk rocker at heart and Pearl Jam were a band whose members strove for commercial success...and then bizarrely actually retreated from it. I don't think Kurt ever wasted an opportunity to say how much he didn't like the more mainstream rock based or metal based grunge bands like Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains.
Ah, ok. That makes perfect sense.
