Non-televised academy matches

I have said it before. The lack of any CF at all is telling. Not enough goals in the team. Lusale as our most experienced attacking player has been underwhelming and should be more prolific.

JJ should play off the left and there should be a regular No 9. If Bradbury's injury is long-term, it might be better to see if Mpofu is ready for a promotion. He looks a decent size and might be able to handle the step up.

Think Mpofu is also injured.

The u21s on Friday not being shown for no reason. No clashes and it’s even a home match so they don’t even need to cover those godforsaken travel costs for the camera crew.

So I see United U21s are 2-0 up.

Any reason Rochdale made two subs after the first minute?

National League teams need to start 4 players that started in their previous league game or otherwise they'll get a fine. Robbie Savage's Forest Green made 4 subs in the first minute last month against someone.

Ah wow. Interesting. Thanks!

Saw most of the second half. It was a sloppy game by both sides, though we were at least more positive with the ball.
Jayce Fitzgerald is very versatile, pity he has had serious injuries in the past two years. Has good control and vision. Can play an 8, a 10, last year was even a CB. Hopefully can be injury free this year

Is tonight's 21s game not televised because there is an FA cup game on at the same time?

Good thing the match isn't live. 0-3 down at half-time and Mills was sent off 5 minutes before the break

U18s also not being shown this morning.

Seen that Harry Robinson is leaving the club too. He single handedly did a lot of the coverage that we did get so going to be getting even less now.

0-0 at HT

Incredibly still no lineup provided. Thwaites, Lusale, Ibragimov, Ngwashi, Overy, Douka, Junior Brown among those to start though.

Largely useless match report on the official site has the lineup at least ('Subs used', great stuff):

United: Heath; Overy, McCormack, Ngwashi, J. Watson; Thwaites, Ibragimov (c); Brown, Ibrovic-Fletcher, Lusale; Abdoulaye.

Subs used: Plunkett, Bailey, Shah, Ajayi.

Unused subs: Z. Watson.

Red card: Ngwashi.

Results have fallen off a cliff and we've not been able to watch most of it, to see why. We're light in attack and besides JJ I think this batch of attackers is on the weaker side in recent years, very young though.

U18s lost 1-3 at home to Everton after being 1-0 up at half-time. Shah scored for us after 3 or 4 minutes.

U16s beat Crystal Palace 3-0 today. Kai Rooney scored one & assisted two, while U15 goalkeeper Bill Hartley also appears to have scored.

All the goals here. First one is Bill Hartley, who must've had to come on outfield due to an injury. Rooney with the second and then I think that's Jodie Nganga with the third.

Looks like the u18s played Celtic in a friendly
Don't know how it finished but that looks like Chido Obi scoring in the first clip.

Lineup looks to have been:

Byrne-Hughes; Helafu, Mills, Armer, Kukonki; McEvoy, Shah; Mantato, Bailey, Gabriel; Obi
